It's funny how CW thought he was explaining to EK the misundestanding about the blind date and the rings stuff and he only worsen the situation.
CW, being the honest and kind man he is (really, until now the only thing that we could blame him would be his position in regards to his mom, but in the rest he is flawless by now) really thought Ba Da would have been sincere about the origin of those rings gifted by her to EK, but no: so if Eun Kang was angry with the idea of Ba Da gifting the rings that were meant for her and her ex to said ex, but to have a wedding to other woman, how upsetting to know the real truth?
I mean, for Eun Kang is really 10000 worse to know that those rings were NEVER meant for her, that her BFF, a jewellery designer, who she has been best friends with since they were 16, had 0 intention of gifting her one of her designs initially, and it was only when the buyer took a step back and was a waste of money, that she said "okay, so I will try compensating the money loss giving the rings to my friend, without explaining the situation and making her think that I thought of her and she was the initial receiver".
I mean, if I were EK, perhaps I would not be mad about this thing, but if we take the dynamics of their friendship it really must sting, because she is always giving the leftovers to EK, she gives the crumbs (like when she arranged a date in the past for a not very close friend with an eligible bachelor, but never did that for EK), and more than friends, EK is a maid that does tasks for her in exchange of money.
The thing that is really outrageous, and would get anyone mad, is BD giving the rings to nasty TG. And sorry Chae Won but the explanation that you gave is outrageous: if someone did what BD did being tight of money, it could hurt but it makes sense, you need the money so you sell them to your friend's ex. But Ba Da is f*cking rich, selling the rings to EK's ex so she could reduce her money loss is absolutely disgusting, that only shows how selfish and unconsiderate she is, and how little she values her BFF, specially since EK's ex cheated on her and left her after being a leech for 4 years and getting pregnant another woman.
I am not trying to justify EK's actions at all of course, and I believe EK is taking a wrong approach (she should cut ties with BD, CW and study to pass the teacher exam), but it shows how shitty and toxic their friendship is

Yes, it's a stupid thing to say because he claimed that she was not longer in childbearing age, and that's completely untrue. I agree having children when you are older increases the odds of having trouble to conceive or defects in the baby, but that doesn't mean you can't give birth to a perfectly healthy baby in your thirties/forties.
Eung Kang character is 37, and a lot of women in my country have children at that age with 0 problems, though I agree is better having them younger

Grandpa really made my blood boil with the things he said during his conversation with Cha Won. How dare he be such a chauvinistic pig, overlooking his own grandson by his daughter bc he doesn't come from his son's line?? I just can't wrap my head around the concept that your grandchildren are better or worse depending on them being born from your daughter or son, that excuse of not carrying your surname is bullshit. And the fact they didn't even aknowledge Cha Won's daughter as a possible heir bc she is a girl is appaling.

I wonder if they may take the route of Eun Kang getting pregnant from CW's child, after watching ep 5: grandpa telling CW to hurry and give him a son to inherit the company, and TK cruelly mocking EK about how she is nearly forty and not longer of age to have a baby (what a stupid thing to say, lots of women can have babies into their forties and she is 37)

You're totally right!! So it could mean a transition, a change: he will be first on his wife side, changing to FL's side later; it could also be a hint to a conflicted position, bc PYJ is his wife but at the same time has sympathy or develops feelings for FL. He will be a wild card

Yes, it would not surprise me at all, but what makes me think he may side with FL at the end, even in the case he is a son of a bitch, it's the posters. I commented previously here in MDL how the posters give hints to the two sides in the story:
PYJ, JJJ, the painter, the stewardness and the tattoo man (the bullies) they all have yellow flowers in their posters.
On the other hand: FL, ML, the spy that helps FL and the husband of PYJ they all appear with white flowers.
So: yellow flowers- the bullies; white flowers: the "good side" white flowers.
And those flowers are indeed important when the landlady explained to FL the difference between that kind of flower in different colour.
The white one is called "Devil trumpet", and the yellow one the "Angel trumpet"
It's really funny that they use the Devil flower to represent FL's side, and I guess since they inserted a lot of christian religious motives, they are trying to convey how FL is going to be now the devil against her former tormentors, and she is going to make their lives a living hell.
So I really believe the husband will end up siding with FL, bc of the white flower associated with him, but maybe in the beginning he will try to help his wife cover everything (after all, I really think he is not a nice person)

HDY character is a complete mystery in this 1 season, and I guess it's intentional and we are going to be very surprised when we get to know him better (somehow, I can't see as an innocent good man oblivious to the evil that surrounds him)
I think the stewardness may be right for once and PYJ's husband is a son of a b*tch but not in an obvious way like guys like JJJ.
Things we know from him:
-He loves playing go
-He seems to love his daughter
-Any man who answers his wife when asked why he chose her (she was the chosen one from 3 arranged blinddates) that he chose her because she was the one to carry the least clothes, and they were all Dior, is 1) a weirdo 2) is joking and has a terrible sense of humour. Somehow, I didn't feel like it was a joke, so unless proven otherwise, he is a weirdo.
-He doesn't love his wife.
All in all, I think he is this type of quiet man who has "hidden depths", I doubt even PYJ knows what type of person her husband is; he doesn't look to me like an idiot, and he may even know her wife's dirty secrets (not the bullying) but doesn't give a crap

I hope I am wrong but I get the feeling from last eps JJJ sexually attacked FL. We have seen how the tattoo man forcibly kissed her and actively participated in the bullying, even punching her, but FL was pretty calm in all her interactions with him, so it's kind of shady how JJJ gets under her skin, when so far they have shown us he was playing basket or just a bystander in general. So when they shown us the flashback from the rainy day and his behaviour... I really hope it's not like that, but there are suspicious scenes that may point to that: JJJ answering to PYJ's question if he found FL pretty as teenagers, the tattoed man question "did your sleep with her" when JJJ commanded him to look into her, JJJ telling PYJ's husband that they knew each other's deep secrets and had seen her skin under her clothes (ofc that could be only about the burns, but still...), the puking scene after FL confronted him
The whole gang of bullies are horrible trash who don't deserve to be call human, but PYJ and JJJ are on another level

from the trailers, I got the opposite impresion about ML. He seems like someone who doesn't care to make his hands bloody, not at all a "Jiminy Cricket"
So I believe we will see a horrifying duo which will become the worst nightmare of the bullies
About the "revenge is bad" troupe I also hate it, in the sense that one thing is knowing taking revenge sometimes may require you to sacrifice yourself or your morals ("when you plan a revenge, dig 2 graves" saying) but another thing is shaming the victim who wants to take revenge.
Taking into consideration that the starting point of this revenge isFL having an "epyphany" when she was going to kill herself "why must I die alone, why not taking them down with me", it seems illogical imo to convey that message in this drama (after all, they destroyed her life to the point where she had nothing to encourage her to live apart from her revenge, how could they say us revenge is bad in her situation, when is her reason to live?)

I agree ending most likely will be a sad one, she seems completely wrecked and her scars run too deep (from various trailers and synopsis etc), but let's wait to see what happens once the drama actually starts!!

I have a question, is this really a infidelity/ betrayal drama?
I am asking because it's not tagged as one here on MDL, and if you have watched the trailer and these first eps, you realise that the trailer is misleading (that kissing scene a dream)

It's a happy ending: he became the owner of Soonyang after Grandpa passed away, and at the end he went to visit the spot (cliff) where he was killed in his previous life when he was still Mr Yoon, but admiting to himself that he wasnot longer that same man from his 1 life, but Jin Do Jun, Yang Cheol's favourite grandson and a member of Jin family.
So basically he really died in his first life as Mr Yoon, transmigrated to Jin Do Jun's body, and lived a happy life as the heir and later owner of Soonyang. And he married the prosecutor!
Btw this is novel's ending, webtoon is not finished I think

I can't believe they changed the webtoon's ending for such a terrible one
I am sorry but if you are adapting a novel and you want to deviate from novel canon's endng, at least don't do it for the worse
It's not a matter of which ending is more or less happy, the thing is this ending makes no sense and is very unsatisfying

I think we can see clearly clues in the characters' posters, about the 2 sides we will have in the drama!!
-There are some characters that appear with YELLOW flowers in posters: the evil side
-Others have WHITE flowers: the FL's side, the "good" ones: in here we have FL, ML (LDH), Yeom Hye Ram's character (in the trailer she also said: I will help you in your revenge), and very interestingly, Ha Do Young's character (who, if I am not wrong, will play the main female bully's husband role)

I hope if there is a love storyline, it's a small one, but that being said, the fact that they have used the tag "age gap" here on DML and the description of LDH's character makes me think there will be some romance

I don't think so, but I guess they will use makeup to give the actor some fake tattoos.
