Dear show writers, I can't stress enough how little we care about Princess Lian, Zhu Ying and Yebei's people arch. I am loving the show, but everytime they appear I skip all of their scenes, and when I thought they were out of the plot after that assasination attempt. Surprise!! We get a lot of them. Just hearing princess Lian's voice grates on my nerves. The only person in the whole Yebei I don't dislike is this boy from Lian's gang that always interceded when the rude boy (the one that never shuts up) wanted to kill FL/called her a calamity
right???? you know a character is a baddie when they wear traditional clothing in modern time on the daily for…
LOL so right And you know they are buddies when : they appear a lot but don't really have a role, they are just there, like forniture (check), it's revealed they aren't truly related and he is a child out of an affair (check)
Do Jun says whatever happens has to happen. He just have made that mindset because of his mother when in reality…
Yeah, he def should have gone to the CIA and say "hey, I am 2.0 Nostradamus and I know there will be a terrorist attack". CIA would take his for a madman and when it really happened, they would accuse him of being a terrorist LOL How could he explain knowing it? And I don't know how having money has anything to do with having power over CIA. He can have certain influence on Korea, not in USA XD
Grandpa may have been biased to 1 son family at first, but he is very consistent in his thinking: he will give Soonyang to the worthiest. The wedding banquet's scene was very revealing: "don't you know who is my favourite child? It's Soonyang" He was definitely overwhelmed with rage in that scene with drunken Dong Ki, but it was not because Do Jun left his uncle with nothing, it was because he realised that he had been seriously considering leaving the company to Dong Ki, and he had overestimated totally his second son's worth. That's why he says "this is all he could do? It's really contrasting this reaction to the one he had with his daughter's failure: it proves how Jin Jang Cheol never had any expectations of his daughter as a heir (that's why he doeesn't bat an eye when Do Jun takes down her company) but he had really misjudged his second son for a capable man who could run Soonyang. So in my opinion Grandpa would never get rid of Do Jun after this, it's the other way around: what a normal family would see as a terrible betrayal to other family members, Grandpa sees a strength and he definitely wants Do Jun to be his heir. And if he wanted Do Jun out of the picture, he could always do it without putting his life on the line. It's clear this was done by someone that sees both Grandpa and grandson as thorns in their eyes.
He is a creeep for sure hahha, but there was a motive for taking a lot of pictures of her, though: he wanted to…
The randy one?' I was so shocked about that photoshop, he is for sure a man of many talents: editing pics, blackmailing people, implanting memories in his amnesiac bff... lol I was really shook when they revealed he was the one to hit FL with a frigging brick just for taking her phone, searching it for info and uploading that pic . What type od psycho does that? He could have killed her with that brick. But for me, the scene with O Sung that creeped me the most was when, after SJB warned him to not try anyything again and that he knew it was him bc of that limited edition shoes, how he reacted: next day the shoes were hanging from a tree and he was wearing them...The way he smiled and mocked JB was scary as fuck
She was like this from the get go.... Remember!! When she was working part-time in a hotel and she had to deliver…
Exactly, but even if he were there with a girl, or having a party with some friends, is it her business?? It was so unprofesional the way she questioned him about his private life, when she was working and they weren't a thing (not a couple, or friends) If I were her and I found some college classmate while working, I would never involve myself in their business, I would just do my work politely and that's it. And the way she acted like we should applaud her or something for working part time...Ofc it shows she is a hardworking person and it has her merit, but it does not make her better than her classmates who don't work while studying. She really gets on my nerves
Another one....Isnt Osung taking pics of his step sis like that real creepy? and also, he did that mms type of…
He is a creeep for sure hahha, but there was a motive for taking a lot of pictures of her, though: he wanted to gain a lot of followers quickly from the streaming. What is mms?
I honestly don't like very much FL, but it's not because of what she did in today's ep: in fact, I totally understand (investigating the tip) because she is just doing her job. The reason I don't like her is how she has been introduced in the story since minute 1 as a sanctimonious person who feels entitled to look down on Jin Do Jun just because he comes from privilege. She has no right to judge someone just because of his background: it is as bad as disrespecting someone for being poor. I mean I could totally understand if she did that to rich people who look down on others, but to Do Jun?? And the funniest thing is she comes also from a good family, and I am not so sure she would have rejected that scholarship if Do Jun had not appeared at that moment, which is fine, but please don't act so high and mighty. The way she judged him when Do Jun gave her the tip infuriated me, like: "you are such a good nephew, attacking your family for money". Girl, don't judge anything when you don't have the full picture, and if you are a good profesional, you should not care about anything but doing justice, he is doing you a big favor giving you such a big case, and you dare act like that
okay so my theory is kook jihyun is the murderer of park won seok and gi osung is trying to frame seok jaebeom…
I don't think he loves her because the only big clue that could lead to that seemed to be him uploading photos of her in his insta, but he only did that, because that sly fox wanted to gain quickly a lot of followers, so a lot of people watched his streaming. In fact, if you think about it, he is pretty clever lol And the way he has treated her in general makes me think he is indifferent to her at the best, finds her annoying at worst. He even made that racy photoshop from her to get Chanmi beaten (It doesn't seem like something you would do to your beloved one)
I think the key is in SOOHEON'S BRO DEATHIan Fleming said in his Bond stories: 'Once is happenstance. Twice is…
So I definitely think Osung, the doctor's daughter killer, and perhaps Jae Beom were involved in the bullying of ML's bro. He was friends with PWS, Ajung and maybe Sejin. Osung discovered that PWS and Sejin, who were a couple, were only trying to uncover the truth about ML's bro death. I don't think he never really considered those two friends, but got along with them because of Jae Beom, that could possibly have been in love with Chanmi's bro. That would explain that weird sentence that Osung said when he saw SooHeon and Jae Beom getting close "This time is SooHeon". Throughout the show, I got this feeling that O Sung was in love with Jae Beom (he lies all the time, but that scene at the car when he said to SJB: "I am always on your side, I am always genuine with you" felt really revealing), what could have make him specially suspicious and hateful of PWS. Osung confronted Jae Beom about this, about PWS using JB's feelings when in fact wanted to destroy them: jae Beom, who very obviously has split personality as a result of his twin death, got very emotional and things scalated: perhaps his "evil side" came out, and accidentally he fell from the rooftop and ended in a coma. Osung would feel that this was PWS's fault, and hated him even more. PWS finally got proof against Osung and SJB. I am pretty sure the other Jae beom has his memories intact, so amnesiac SJB remembered everything while being in "evil mode" and he killed PWS. O Sung witnessed it and helped Jae Beom get away from school undetected, and JB doesn't really remember being the killer because it happened with his other personality. Sejin and Ajung are working together in the shadows, trying to frame Osung, because they believe him to be the killer, and in general hate his guts. So Ajung used her friends to get to the killer of doctor's daughter: she leaked the location, and Sejin killed the guy (who may have been part of the bullying) and put that recipe to frame O Sung. A Jung stole O Sung's phone and passed it to Se Jin, so he could call ChanMi with that ringtone. Remember how Ajung invited O Sung to stay at that party? And when his dad called him, SeoHoon heard the ringtone.
My theory is different from what I have seen in the comments:
I think the key is in SOOHEON'S BRO DEATH Ian Fleming said in his Bond stories: 'Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. The third time it's enemy action'.” We have in this show 3 different people trying to commit suicide (allegedly) by jumping from windows/rooftop. Coincidence? I don't think so There are constant references in the narrative to bullying, and we know that ML's bro killed himself, jumping from a window because he was bullied. It draws my attention how they mention to us: -That Ajung went to same school that JaeBom (Ajung said it in the bus scene) -And that the juvenile criminal that appeared dead (killer of doctor's daughter) went to the same school that O sung. (Said by female detective when she interrogated O sung) Since Ajung talked to her white haired friend about the murder of doctor's daughter, and that it happened in 8th grade, we could assume she went to the same school that the dead girl and her killer, so: It seems O sung, JaeBeom, Ajung and the doctor's daughter killer, all of them went to the same highschool. (This makes sense since Osung and JaeBeom seems to be friends since children) What if they went to the same highschool that ML's bro? What if Park Won Seok and AJung were friends with him??? I found weird that friendship of 4 because we know that Sejin and Park Won Seok hated bullies, and we know O sung is a total d*ck, and he never tried to cover it (only with Jae Beom). What if Won Seok suspected/or needed proof that O sung and Jae Beom were involved in ML's bro death?? He and Se Jin could have approached them with the ulterior motive of taking revenge for his friend's suicide. I have read people saying AJung hated PWS's guts? But...did she? I got the feeling that she hated O Sung's guts instead: she said to Chanmi that she should talk to that girl if she wanted the truth about PWS, but when Chanmi revealed how the other girl hated her bro, AJung uncovered PWS was being blackmailed by Osung, and that in fact was a pretty nice guy before being blackmailed. That makes 0 sense if she though bad of PWS, and the only thing that justifies sending Chanmi after that girl was to put Osung in a bad light, showing her he was a son of a b*tch and was blackmailing her brother, and making him a suspect in Chanmi'a eyes. This is so fucking long I will make another comment continuing the theory, sorry LOL
wasn't jaebum out of the coma when chanmi's bother got killed? if so then why did he ask osung if he killed him?
Jaebom fell into a coma a year before (22 april, foundation day). He spent 6 months in coma, and then he woke up. 2 months after that, he woke up in october (when he wasn't yet back at school because he was resting and recuperating) PWS died (I think it was 23rd December). So technically SJB could have killed Ok Chanmi's brother because he was already out of the coma, but he had amnesia at the time.
I hope Princess Lian doesn't enter the story again in the future. Leaving aside her character is absolutely boring…
She was such a fool as to attempt to kill the emperor when she knew that general was shady as hell, when FL had told her the emperor knew about the attempt (why would he say her name out of the blue if not??), when the emperor was invulnerable for all she knew. She was just a child with a tantrum, and she wanted to vent her rage and pain even if she brought total anihilation to her subjects. We all know in real life (like we have seen in other dramas) if a princess from a defeated country did that, the emperor would kill thousands of Yebei people. What a terrible leader
I hope Princess Lian doesn't enter the story again in the future. Leaving aside her character is absolutely boring (and her boyfriend too, but at least he is a nice guy), my blood boiled with ep 9 and 10 I would have bought her excuse for not saving FL (I have to think of my people, and I can't abandon tens of thousand of my people for one person) IF that f*cking hypocrite had thought of that when she tried that at the ceremony... Didn't she think about her people then?? FL only got into that mess because Princess Lian had created that mess and FL wanted to protect her. What a nerve she has to try to act all righteous now
Not comparing... proceeds to compare...They are two different genres, they are like apples with oranges. These…
Well yes, there's nothing wrong showing viewership ratings of course, but I am with @baebaexin in that it's not proof that one of them is better than the other, because they are totally different genres, and it's not a fair comparison. I personally have watched both of them and I think both are wonderful shows, and though I (because of my personal preferences) like more Reborn Rich, that doesn't mean this is better than Umbrella, It's like comparing LOTR with The Shawshank Redemption.
And you know they are buddies when : they appear a lot but don't really have a role, they are just there, like forniture (check), it's revealed they aren't truly related and he is a child out of an affair (check)
