This drama was my first exposure to He Yu. The drama itself is a heart-warming story of childhood sweethearts to lovers with very little angst, lots of skinship, and some super lovey-dovey moments that are just sugary enough to make your teeth hurt. Also, I like that all of the friends and family relationships in this drama are so supportive, stable, and non-toxic to the leads. It's a great comfort watch. That said, He Yu really knows how to express himself using his eyes and smile to convey his feelings. He makes his affection and devotion look so natural. His micro-expressions are on point, and he easily convinces you that he's genuinely in love.
After watching SAL, I just had to revisit this gem of a drama again. He Yu is in top form here and is superb in romantic lead roles due to his outstanding ability to make you believe his love is real. I was so excited when I learned he would be the lead in SAL because I knew he would be the perfect, pining, passionate male lead. Once again, he did not disappoint. Due to his acting prowess, I'm truly convinced the man could even have great chemistry with a table lamp if required. I can only imagine what a "light-hearted" drama that would be. 💡♥️😉 But seriously, I hope that He Yu keeps growing and improving as an actor so that he can continue to dazzle and impress us with his performances in the future. I can't wait to see what project he takes on next!
Fantastical Elements/Transmigration + Comedy + Action + MXY = a super fun watch! I totally enjoyed this one and found myself LOLing several times. Super strong FL (literally), lots of humor, action, and a couple of spicy moments. Didn't skip any of this one and the outtakes included at the end were really adorable. You could tell everyone had a lot of fun making this drama!

I loved this one as well and left a note on the drama page about it. It's now listed above as Zen Di Ta Dong Ren. There are more links from Jwells on the drama page for anyone else who might want to watch this gem. 💎
This was such a fun watch. It may be my favorite Ji Jun drama to date. The acting from both leads was on point in this; they were a dynamic force fighting together against all the crazies in the ML's family. Also, the comedic bits in the drama were delightfully unexpected. I actually burst out laughing during a few key funny moments. This pair had a very strong chemistry and made their attraction believable. The kisses were quite realistic as was the ML's portrayal of his utter devotion to the FL. Ji Jun played both a pitiful puppy and a powerful businessman perfectly. The way he scrambled to switch between his two identities and to keep up the ruse was also super amusing. I didn't find myself wanting to skip any scenes in this. I would definitely consider a rewatch in the future.
Does anyone know the link for his drama called: The Healing night Description: Psychologist Nan Xing provided…
Your synopsis sounds like - Helpless Without You - which is listed above. The characters' names are the same. If you visit the drama page, a few commenters posted some links where you can watch the drama. Hope this helps!
The actor portraying Male Lead is so stunningly beautiful! Something about his face, those soulful eyes. I have…
I couldn't agree more! This was my first time seeing YPC in a vertical drama and I thought he was absolutely gorgeous and a fabulous actor! His relentless pursuit of the FL was impressive, and it was fun watching him develop from a devoted puppy to a defensive lover (some of his comebacks towards the SML were fire!) to a more mature romantic partner and dedicated father. The FL worked hard to train him to be more than just an excellent lover (those intimate scenes, wowsers!), and to be a more grounded, real partner without the fairy tale scripts and/or grand gestures. She made it clear that she wanted to be with someone who was open, honest, sincere and committed. I also really liked that this drama didn't feel rushed or disconnected in it's execution, and that it had a conclusive and satisfying ending instead of just a few seconds of happiness at the end. Totally worth the watch!
Zhang Chi was not only mesmerizing in this, but this drama had a unique story line which made it interesting to watch. The leads' toxic relationship was a complete train wreck, but it was definitely an entertaining story. Both actors did an excellent job of portraying emotionally disturbed adults due to their abusive childhood traumas. They formed a bond with each other that was certainly destructive at times, but it was also unbreakable and in the end, was somehow therapeutic for both of them. The plot was a bit messy in places, but it was kind of fitting due to the nature of the leads' relationship. I also have to say what a puppy the ML was with his tousled hair and teasing smirk. It may be just my humble opinion, but I think Zhang Chi has a gorgeous mouth; he has perfectly shaped lips and an alluring smile that entices both his co-stars and the viewers. Additionally, his styling in this drama was fantastic and really emphasized his best features. Though he certainly looks handsome in historical dramas (which is where I first discovered him), this modern styling suited him well. Totally worth the watch!
Adorable! Can Ji Jun get any cuter? He was such a green flag puppy for the FL and she was strong and spunky. Lovely…
I particularly liked the "after shower" scene where the ML was still pretending to be blind and requested help getting dressed. The ML's and FL's expressions during this awkward scene were both cringe and hilarious!
