This is the first time I’m watching a drama with these actors, except for Jun Ning Zhang. The first two episodes aren’t quite impressive , I usually prefer strong openings, but starting from episode 3, everything gets much better. I really like XueYu, she’s very charming and at times reminds me of Meng Zi Yi. I also like the ML’s schemes, they’re really ingenious. Something tells me that as the story progresses, this drama might start giving off "Moonlight Mystique" vibes when it comes to characters dying. That said, I’d really like to see longer, more intense fight scenes, especially from the ML. Hopefully, as the episodes go on, we’ll get to see that too.
I think it's an issue with MDL, at least yesterday when I've checked this page, there were 4-5 main leads and I didn't understood why they are so many 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I don’t know why, but I expected to see someone like the ‘Shadow Puppet Queen’ appear in this drama. She’s even listed in the cast, but she never showed up, strange.

I just finished watching this drama, and I’m extremely satisfied with the ending. Nothing felt rushed, and the couple had plenty of loving moments. I’m glad that everyone got the ending they truly deserved! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Li Shuang didn't abandon Su Mu Yang. You should watch episode 23-24 previews. It was just a part of the plan.
I think you’re forgetting that the Crown Prince always defended them in court whenever the Emperor was against them. Also, you’re forgetting that the Crown Prince sacrificed himself and married someone else to protect the FL , otherwise, the Emperor would have had her killed!

You can’t kill a prince who’s obviously going to wipe out your family, your people, and your friends later on anyway? You can’t defy a royal decree from a mad Emperor who’s planning to kill his own son? You can’t defy now, but in the first episodes you had no problem disobeying the Emperor’s orders by leaving your military camp, acting on your own, and attacking Yao’s army ?
I kinda regret catching up with all the episodes , today’s last episode disappointed me in every possible way. What was that pointless scene where the FL showed up and randomly shot two arrows after Qiao died? And seriously, you let Prince Li live after all the atrocities he committed? That’s just ridiculous! You abandon the Crown Prince like that after swearing to protect him? I don’t care about that 'Mars retrograding near Antares' crap , it’s absurd! If the Crown Prince turns evil in the next episodes, I won’t blame him. In the end, everyone abandoned him.
