I would respect the FL more if she hadn’t demanded fully honesty and transparency from him when all she does…
He infiltrated in the Rong family in a scheming manner right from the very beginning. It’s only natural for the FL to be scheming, she knows exactly what, and who, she’s dealing with.
How can anybody believe for one second that jumping off a cliff was part of his design? Hello?? 99 out of 100…
In C-dramas, everything is possible, even falling off a cliff and surviving happens in at least 80% of the dramas released. See "The Wanted Detective", where the ML actually planned to fall off a cliff.
To be honest, it doesn’t surprise me that this was ML’s plan to get close to the Rong family. I wouldn’t even be surprised to find out that “the monk” is plotting together with ML, I really don’t believe he suddenly fell in love with FL. And just when I was happy that we were done with Ding Chen, suddenly he has a psychopathic “clone.” Soon this drama is going to be dominated by psychopaths.
What an unexpected twist in episode 10. I keep wondering what that symbol on the bracelet represents, it seems to be connected to the FL’s mother. It’s unclear whether her mother was a good person or not. I wouldn’t be surprised if we later discover that the FL is not from Rong family.
Lol LJL is making enemies and pissing everyone off even in the Rong family, and he’s just a servant here 🤣

First time watching Cheng Xiao in a negetive role and she nailed it. Love her❤️
I don’t know what she nailed, because up until episode 8 there are very few scenes with her. I think she appeared in the first episode, and then again for about 5 minutes in episode 8. That’s about it so far.
