Another Cheng Yi drama that will have a sad ending! I’m sorry they didn’t keep Bian Cheng in the role of the deposed emperor, I really miss him since the last time I saw him in The Princess’s Gambit.
who asked anyway? if you don’t like the drama then don’t watch it.you wasted your own pathetic time commenting…
I hope you realize that in real life, in many countries, third-degree relatives can get married even though they are blood-related, right? If that is possible in real life, then I don’t see why people who are not blood-related wouldn’t be able to marry. I understand that this topic can be a bit controversial, but we can’t talk about incest in this case (in this drama).

I think you didn’t watch the drama at all. He isn’t her brother , they’re not blood-related. He was adopted by her father, so there’s no incest involved.
I would have liked Esther not to use her squeaky/childish voice in this drama as well. In some dramas it worked well, but in my opinion she shouldn’t use it in all dramas.
I really like the second couple a lot, there are no misunderstandings between them, or if there are, they resolve them quickly. This happiness of theirs in episode 23 makes me think that they might still have a sad ending 🥲🥲 The third couple is cute as well, I hope there’s a chance for Xiao Ying to fully recover!
You people are shouting 'lazy writing' but we all know the real issue. You're simply disappointed because you…
It’s not a problem of romance here, the writing just isn’t great. Twenty episodes have passed and nothing concrete has happened. Also, the actor shouldn’t take on romantic roles if he sets contractual clauses like ‘no kissing.’ There are plenty of other types of dramas he could choose from! Personally, I don’t see this actor evolving at all. In almost all his dramas he plays the exact same type of role. He has no spark; he’s always so calm that he puts me in a hypnotic/sleepy state, and I struggle to follow him. On the other hand, I really like the second couple!
I’m almost done with episode 9 and I haven’t seen anything interesting, everything is moving slowly, and I can’t even see any chemistry between the ML and FL. The ML seems to act the same in all dramas: he’s quiet, calm, I don’t see any spark. I do like the dynamic of the second couple!
This drama started off so well, but it went downhill in the end. Instead of seeing how the affection between the ML and FL developed, we only got distance and nothing else. That black fox literally gave me a headache, the same scene over and over again. And the ending... the ending was so unsatisfying. They could’ve at least given a satisfying conclusion to all the couples, if not to the ML and FL.
I was planning to watch this drama, but I just can’t get past the first four episodes. I don’t understand why the director didn’t keep the woman with the scar on her face as the female lead, she seemed much more suitable for the role.
It sucks for you maybe, we are enough considering this good.
He’s actually fair and trustworthy. If he made a promise, he keeps it no matter what. In the same way, he also saved the second male lead many years ago, when in fact only one of them was supposed to survive.
