So I believe they did cut corners, distributed the drug illegally as donations (this was mentioned some episodes back) and the chairman somehow leaked the existence of the warehouse it is kept and made it appear like a drug that can help with alertness so the drug dealers stole it. Then the drug dealers sold it as a 'legal' upper drug. They didn't think it would have had too much adverse effect. Taesok did admit that he himself sold it abroad so other countries are affected as well.

Also, you are right, there are medications made for something but actually better as something else. Just like Glutathione. It was initially made as an antioxidant to help with cancer and other illnesses, but they found out the side effects is that it makes the skin fairer or more white. Now it is mainly used for its side effects, to make skin fairer.

The entity/spirit had already moved on to another victim. Remember what the shaman said? They are not content with 1 person and they jump from one person to another. It found another lonely and neglected person, attached itself to her and now has stolen her identity and place. The real Song Haeju might be already dead, just like what happened to Boo Yungseok.

I found this drama special after being curious of Woojae. I have seen him in Please Don't Date Him and checked out what other dramas/movies he is in. This wasn't phenomenal but the story is nice, got me curious until the back story was revealed and it became predictable.

I would say Yoonsuk acted very well in this drama special. Just looking at his facial expressions gave me the creeps.

Same. I can't think of it as a zombie related show because they don't die after getting infected and they have moments that they return to themselves. I am just not sure why they drink blood when they get thirsty and gets satiated by it. Maybe (hopefully?) we'll get answers in future episodes.

Same, don't really like zombie related shows or movies. I didn't even watch Kingdom despite the recommendations, and only watched Train to Busan because of Wooshik. But this got me curious. I hope it doesn't disappoint. But you know what? I can't really consider it a zombie-related show. They don't die after getting infected, some of them become normal for some period of time, and they drink blood instead of actually eating brains or the people. I dunno. Haha. Hopefully we get answers soon.

TBH, I don't mind the annoying characters, hahaha. Like I just wish for them to be bitten and be left off so we can focus on the actual happenings in the series.

I don't think the annoying casts need character development because really, I think they are just there to be annoying, and just to show how stupid people can be in real life. Like you know, people who stream an on-going fire like it's an attraction or something, or people who only care about themselves, etc. TBH, people are really stupid and dumb IRL sometimes, we saw that with Covid and other crisis. Though we don't know yet for sure if they will have any use near the end. I think what needs attention is not the annoying ones, but those that are calm or aloof, like the man from the 15th floor, Andrew and Taesok. I am actually more interested in their back story than any of the nuisance characters.

But wow, Nam Goong Min really acted so well in this drama. His acting carried me through the lagging parts of the series.

I initially watched it because of Inguk. But boy, was I so glad I really did watch it because you're right. The characters are interesting and the actors were great.

Same, Japanese was the only thing I can tell. I never knew of Korea when I was young so for me it's either Chinese or Japanese. But now I will never think the same as well. I only studied Korean up to elem 1, but I can tell Mandarin and Cantonese apart now, and know basic words/phrases. Thai is waaay different from the other languages. It's actually nice to watch shows/movies in other languages because we learn a lot. 😊

I think it would be harder to make him human if he turns into an evil spirit. But geez, the continuity...

OMG, I love animes, too! From when I was a kid till now. As for CDramas, we had cable TV for as long as I remember, and there is a channel called Star Chinese. And I started watching because I saw one show that was historical and they have elemental powers. I really like those kinds of stuff so from then on, I started watching a lot. I can't remember the title anymore though. And then the first KDrama I watched was Bright Girl. I thought it was actually Chinese (didn't know how to distinguish the difference in languages when I was younger). After watching Whispering Corridors, that's when I learned some of those shows I have watched are Korean, and after watching Fated to Love You, I realized Bright Girl was not Chinese because both dramas have the same lead actors 😅
