Yesss... i want another masterpiece like the guest,
Not as phenomenal as The Guest (which is still part of my top 5 Korean shows), but it's okay. I will not rewatch it though, the story was as is and no further thinking is needed. Well, except for Ae Ran's part. 🤔
Why did Jin Soo killed the young disciple's mother? The virgin shaman was already dead and so were the other people…
Jin Soo did not kill Cheong Seok's mother. She commited suicide because of her guilt for accidentally killing Jin Soo's family. Cheong Seok's mother was drunk driving and hit Jin Soo's wife and child, killing them both. She was brought to court but was given a light sentence (hence Jin Soo's policd record of disturbance). But she was full of guilt and eventually, commited suicide, asking Jin Soo to take care of Cheong Seok.
The people possessed by the eye were part of the meditation group the archaeologist put together, and they were people who attempted suicide. The archaeologist wanted to prove that the curse is real, because he was ruined over trying to prove it before. The blood he poured in the first Sirara Casket were from the members of meditation group. So when the eye possessed the archaeologist, he "sniffed" where the next stepping stones are, who are basically the members of the group. Since the blood from them were used to awaken the red eye, it knows the scent of everyone.
Ho Tae's friend is not part of the group, but I think, the red eye smelled something common from him with the members of the meditation group, and that is the suicide attempt. And so, instead of looking for the virgin shaman, the red eye attached itself to Hong Tae's friend. Hong Tae did save his friend from killing himself when he attempted to drown himself. I think the psychic said it is his fault because in a way, if that friend did die, he wouldn't be mixed in the mess.
The part of Ae Ran I am a bit confused about. From what I understand, she commited suicide so she can help the archaeologist who saved her from her abused life. But I don't get the purpose...
is there anywhere I can watch ep 9-13? mgtv app made the videos for vip members and I don't have the vip membership.…
I am on VIP plan with Mango but the other episodes only have Vietnamese sub, no English sub 🥺
YT only has ep1 with Eng sub, the rest have none. I found raw episodes in Kissasian, if you like that. I gave up looking for Eng subs as well. Looks like S1 is better than S2 but sucks that I can't find Eng subbed eps anywhere...
it was an odd plotpoint but i think it really showcased how obsessed and fucked up they had both become
Especially Wee, even hurting himself or the girlfriend. I was like, come on, you're a surgeon! Don't waste what you've worked so hard for! But oh well, obsession got the best of him...
It was real good but the way they started the whole wei feng thing made me feel I was missing a whole episode
Same feelings. I thought I skipped an episode accidentally so I went back and played the previous episode just to check. It's like they made the ending story arc in haste.
I wonder if this has Season 2? The ending seems to be mysterious to me somehow. Or maybe I just want to see more of Leon Zhang and Hu Yi Tian's bromance... :D
I always stay away from anything Shane Xiao acts because all her characters are so annoying lol but the cases…
So true! It was weird for me at first to see Hu Yi Tian as quirky and funny after watching him in 3 series where he is either stoic or serious, but it was fun to wqtch him in this light. I actually find it weird that there's something similar with this and Psych Hunter...3 people in a team and an annoying FL. Though I think the FL being annoying is just to add lightness and fun to the story, and it didn't really hinder me from watching because I love the bromance, but I agree with others it would have been better if the FL wae less argumentative and annoying.
Though the plot of the movie has some loopholes, I did enjoy watching it. It wasn't as scary as I thought, too.…
I finally saw her on another drama...hahaha...though it was only a guest role. It's funny because her role there was harmless and supposed to be nostalgic...I was like...noooooo...don't let her hold the baby, she's crazy!!
I don’t know why but I felt that the love for Ah li of bai qian was mare.I mean I didn’t feel the warmth of…
What I noticed from the Fox Tribe is that they value being strong and independent, even for women. This is also why she was not worried when Ali got drunk and didn't wake up for days. But Bai Qian was affectionate to Ali in so many ways. I mean, would you allow someone's kid to hug and call you mother just like that? Although she deflected at first, she very much let Ali do whatever he likes with her.
They lose a portion of their lives. That's why Ms. Chu's hair got whiter after healing Mun's wrist.
She was not really "playing" with her ability to heal. It's just that they have to heal some of the thugs because they have to erase their memories and not leave any traces of themselves behind any scene. Also, the counters don't necessarily endanger themselves or intentionally hurt themselves, except for Mun at the start, and it wasn't intentional either, but his drastic actions due to his emotions cause him to be hurt. I think that is really the cost for any counter that has healing ability. Even Jeonggu's hair turn white, but he just dyes it black.
I will watch only if they changed the whole team, and no one from season 1 would return except as a mentor or…
If you check the page for Season 2, all 4 of them are already posted so I think they are the ones assured to come back. Some of the back stories like Hana's and Ms. Chu's weren't really explained so it might be about them. Might still be interesting, we'll see.
Question, can somebody please explain to me the things about territory? I don’t get it! Thank youuu
It was explained in one episode that it lessens the injury they get from fighting, prevents them from dying, and their abilities are stronger. That is why they usually stop fighting when it disappears because it would be dangerous for them without it.
It doesn't make sense that So Moon became a cripple again after the spirit left him. His healed leg was unrelated…
I think that's because they have to return to how they were before becoming a counter. Since part of returning them to their old life was supposedly removing any or all memories of being a counter, then they should return his injury as well.
In the end when evil spirit was summoned, he appeared but he was only a (previous) host too not the original spirit…
I think he cannot just freely move from one body to another. The next host must have the same frequency as the original host. Also, when he was summoned, he was inside the Yung territory which could hinder some of the evil spirit's abilities.
