A town of 400 people in farm country USA

Where can I watch/stream this in the US region? Please provide a link.
It's on Gagaoolala, an Asian streaming platform for LGBTQ+ content. World-of-BL.com has all the links for all BLs.

so does FL end up paralyzed ?? need spoiler before i start watching !!!
For those that are looking for a good drama that follows the ML's progression of ALS, try "Boku no Ita Jikan" (2014). Bring tissues.

What is lakorn?
I am probably incorrect on which drama. But I've only watched 3 Lakorns, so if it's not Kleun Cheewit, then it's either Hua Jai Sila or The Crown Princess. It's from one of them anyway and it was hilarious.

I get it. That totally makes sense.

Also, 106 characters for a 20 episode drama is a little overboard. Hell, Empress Ki only had 67 characters and it was 54 episodes long and a masterpiece.

>>they went for 20 episodes instead of the regular 16

In my experience, South Korean Historical dramas tend to have more than 16 episodes. Sometimes, quite a few more, especially if the story is epic (Empress Ki) or complicated (Gu Family Book/Bridal Mask). If it's just a costume romcom (Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency / My Sassy Girl), it'll have 16 or 17 episodes, but most of them have a few more than that.

Title The Blessed Girl Spoiler
Just a heads up, this is in NO WAY a light fluffy romance. This is a drama for when you need a good cry. They start killing people off around episode 25 or so and then you get a death every 1 to 2 episodes for the rest of the 40 episode drama. Bring tissues.

Exactly how many episodes was the boy emperor, Yuan Yi, missing in action? Was it 6 or 7. I mean... not even a cut scene of him walking around in some random forest. WTH? That was annoying.

Wtf was that ending? It was so unlogical and stupid of her to leave like that ... His mum just died right after…
That was so horrible. And what's really bad is that if you just stop watching the last episode about 20 minutes in, the drama ends perfectly... without all the angsty ridiculousness. Just don't watch the rest.

I started watching and didn't really feel the chemistry at first, 28 episodes later, and the only reason I hang…
I liked that they were both strong, and smart, and capable, but they still messed up every once in a while. Neither of them where Molly Sues.

Ok. What the hell was that ending episode? What exactly where the writers smokin'? I dropped my rating an entire point for 30 minutes of the last episode. I never do that.

If you stop about 20 minutes in to the last episode, it ends perfectly. No need for all of that ridiculous angst. Totally drama for drama's sake and no other reason. Take my word for it and just stop when it looks like Qiu Yan is about to wander off by herself for some god forsaken reason.

I absolutely loved the ML and FL's relationship in this drama. They were awesome all the way through.

What is lakorn?
Thai melodramas. Think telenovelas or very very melodramatic, and completely unreal, soap operas. Every single minute of a lakorn has a piece of music playing over it. Many times, the music in no way fits the scene.

My favorite scene from any lakorn is, I believe, from Kleun Cheewit. The MLs mother is an evil witch who wants to kill these two people that the cops have chased into an abandoned building in the middle of some woods. The cops have these people at gunpoint and she walks in and dismisses them.... somehow (she has no affiliation with the cops). She has a gun on them when another group of people show up and try to shoot her (where did the cops go? the moon?). She books it into the woods, in the middle of the dark night with no light source and wearing 6-inch spiked heels. She gets away from everyone by outrunning them.

I laughed and laughed and laughed.

So, if that's your thing, I would suggest giving Kleun Cheewit (2017) or Hua Jai Sila (2019) or The Crown Princess (2018) a whirl.

Drug addicts shouldn't go to jail or have their careers ruined. Drug addiction can be treated and should be. Even…
I don't think that any drug addicts, in any country, should be put in jail for doing drugs. It's not really a crime to be sick and need help. Distributors of illegal substances? Sure, lock 'em up and throw away the key. But not the people who are addicts. Not so much.

So... I think we're on the same page, we're just staring from different places.

Some of you acting like doing drugs isn't a big deal like?! This is not a small scandal that can just be brushed…
Drug addicts shouldn't go to jail or have their careers ruined. Drug addiction can be treated and should be. Even if you consider drug addiction to be a "bad thing", he should be helped, not tormented, put in jail, and scandalized. That won't help anything at all.

Just a heads up.... Frustrated at never getting a Season 2 of Joy of Life, I read the novel. It is absolutely nothing at all like the drama, except for character names and the setting. I had a hard time even liking the protagonist in the novel. So, while reading the novel the drama is based on can alleviate some curiosity, don't expect it to follow the drama exactly.

don't like the main male, rather main female end up with the prince instead... he's such a sweetheart
ewwwww.... god no. I mean, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but the Prince was obsessive about her. That's not love, that's wanting a possession that won't give herself to him freely. He was totally gross.

The worst part of this drama will be its background music. The music literally pops up out of nowhere in unrelated…
As a viewer of the very occasional Thai Lakhorn, You mean the music isn't supposed to be a romp when one woman is killing another?
.... sorry, I get it, I just couldn't resist.

I saw this is the last part of trilogy. Can I watch it without watching first two parts?
I'm going to preface this by saying that you can watch any of the serializations (dramas) of Jin Yong's books in any order and be fine. So, if you don't want to go back into the way back machine to watch older dramas first, there's no need to watch them in order. That being said, the order is:
1. Legend of the Condor Heroes (2019 (movie, I've not seen it, and I have no idea how they compressed all of that material down) 2017, 2008, 2003, 1994, 1983, etc.). They all mostly tell the same story with director, actor, and screenwriter tweaks. I've seen 2008 and 2017. Either one is good.
2. Return of the Condor Heroes (2006, 1996, 1984, etc.). I've only seen the 2006 version. It seems like a fine adaptation of a well-known work, but it's screaming for an updated version.
3. Heavenly Sword and Dragon Sabre (2022 (movie... again, how??) 2019, 2009, 2002, 1994, etc.). I've seen the 2009 version and the first 10 or so episodes of this one (decided I wasn't in the mood... totally on me, it was going fine). I loved that version.

Jin Yong's works are incredibly popular and translate well into drama form.

Here are the rest of the Jin Yong adaptations if you're interested in more:
