Unexpectedly, it's turning out to be pretty funny. - Golf watching his crying boyfriend pick up his stuff from the apartment, letting him stew in his own misery, only to propose to him five minutes later π
- Champ isn't mad at this parents anymore, but he's staying apart from them so he can keep receiving unexpected news. The scriptwriter hates him.
- Gun to his mom, visibly nervous: "I have something to tell you" "What thing? OH I've cooked some food" *yeets outta there*π€‘
- Nan introduces Chompu to his childhood friends the same day he announces his wedding. The strongest friendship in bl history LMAO
- Gun's talk with his dad was actually pretty nice, at least.
Does Ja get much screen time? Trying to decide if this is worth watching for him specifically.
There are five protagonists plus Ja's character and the show jumps from one storyline to the other at random intervals. Sadly there's not enough Golf/Gun to make up for this mess.
So Golf gets dumped by his boyfriend because of communication issues and he decides to take a trip down memory…
Probably the most consistent thing about this mess is that Golf is still an oblivious idiot. He's four hours late to his anniversary dinner, his boyfriend is pissed and the first thing out of his mouth is "wow food!" π π
So Golf gets dumped by his boyfriend because of communication issues and he decides to take a trip down memory lane while said ex-boyfriend is 3 metres away being miserable. What about trying to fix your relationship? "You might want this [a wedding] to happen to us, but I can't make it happen anymore" SHUT UP AND READ THE ROOM
-Eight episodes eagerly waiting for Gun to reveal his identity to Golf, only for them to get together, fast forward two (?) years and break up. WHAT WAS THE POINT -Champ, oh Champ. I'm sorry the scriptwriter hates you. I shouldn't laugh, but the fact they killed the dog just for the sake of it is pretty laughable -I can't see Em and Name as anything other than siblings. There's zero romantic tension between them π₯²
- Name's "friends" realizing a year later he speaks π - champ's family share one (1) braincell - @ the genius that decided to give more screentime to Nan's boring storyline, instead of developing Em/Name and Golf/Gun story better: You're so bad at your job you should get back to school. Or better yet, get punished by watching Remember Me nonstop for seven days straight
Y-Idol and War of Managers each were two episodes too long. They could've used that extra time to develop Achi's storyline better. The end result is a halfbaked character that doesn't connect with the audience because we can only guess his feelings and motivations. I'm not even angry, I'm disappointed they decided to half-ass the last arc knowing ToruFirst were arguably the most awaited couple. All in all, this was one of the wildest rides I've ever been on. I'm mentally exhausted π€
One thing this show has done right is Golf's parents. Throwing a party to meet their son's boyfriend. Gossiping with Golf about his love life, Golf's "we don't have that many problems to think about" lmao
Brain says this should have a sad ending. Heart wants Most and Achi to end up together π€‘ Anyway it's refreshing to watch a villainous character as the lead. The struggle between wishing him bad karma or redemption is real.
So all the guys have been in Uni for 2-3 years and not once has either of them gone home? Some (or their parents)…
You couldn't have said it better. At this point, I'm grateful for the closed captions on YouTube so I can read the transcript instead of watching this painfully slow show that's getting us nowhere.
Feels so good to be right about Achi and Fern. They were acting shady since the previous ep. I still think Most knows about them, but he's deluding himself because he's too dumb in love. Achi is playing with fire. And Fern... Girl what are you even doing π
My theory: Achi and Fern are already dating. Achi's attitude when Fern was introduced was suspicious af. Moreover it's highly convenient to pose as a fan to be near her boyfriend without raising suspicion. This show likes its plot twists and it wouldn't surprise me if Most and Achi were trying to cheat the system and caught feelings along the way.
The plot about the mom came out of nowhere. I can imagine the point they were trying to make, but it left me flabbergasted. I knew what was gonna happen because of the spoiler in the summary, but still. Nevertheless, it's one of my favorite shows now. Santa and Earth's acting were superb
