When u listen to what the director says, it seems like she really wanted to show something "realistic"...But to…
Exactly. You can sleep with your partner all you want and still feel nothing at the end of the day. Method actors bring out emotions from past experiences to make their performance more realistic. That doesn't mean you kiss your co-star where no one can see and then get mad when you're caught lol Either the director has a misconception of what method acting actually is or she wanted to portray two men falling in love against the odds and disguised it as being "too invested" to not offend anyone lmao
Not even the director can convince me this isn't a gay movie. Are you trying to tell me Jae Ha takes Yeong Woo to a secluded garage and kisses him for an eternity just because he got too much into his role? Sorry, it doesn't work like that.
Hee Won literally catches his bf kissing Yeong Woo in the middle of the night and then tries to have sex with him but his mind is elsewhere. Later, she discovers he's sleeping with his costar in a car and he doesn't even offer an excuse??? He even confronts her about it because they were caught??
And don't get me started on their second kiss... they smile at each other as if saying AT LAST, as if all the tension between them was building exactly for that. If that's not love in their eyes I don't know what is lmao
If what they were doing was simply "method acting" Yeong Woo wouldn't look heartbroken in the press conference. Jae Ha wouldn't look so freaking miserable and guilty all the time. IMHO, Jae Ha wasn't willing to risk his and Yeong Woo's career and a steady relationship to pursue his feelings for Yeong Woo. Or maybe he's in denial. Who knows.
I have a lot of feelings regarding this movie. I'll shut up now.

I watched it with Kiyoshi Ryota's subtitles, but I found them lacking at some points.. I tried to find another subber, but there's none apparently :(
