Agreeing to this so muchh! Main leads chemistry actually felt much better than second leads to me. Probably because I prefered mature type over toxic chemistry. To lots of viewers second lead's toxicity probably felt exciting, that is probably why they liked them a lot!

1) There was no antidote to it. They used to just feed medicine to supress the symptom. It's like you catch cold and have cough too. You will be taking cough medicine to supress the coughing symptom but that doesn't have any affect on your cold. You still need to get through the cold yourself. When you tend to drink medicine for cold, actually there's no medicine for cold, the tablets we consume are for suppressing the symptoms, but it doesn't help us in getting rid of cold. The same happens with the fortnight flies.
2) it seems she was actually trying to run away. Prince yue just happened to pass by so he picked her up. But since yuanzhi already knows about her, they couldn't possibly hide her. So when prince yue took her, he also requested the sword weilder to use yun que as medicine tester for punishment. In other words, she didn't really escape, she just got away for few mins while running.

If you ask me to be honest, I actually watched first 3 and last 3 episodes of all the season that too at spee of 2x The scenes of death are too ghastly and horrific! It's too normal for people to die just because of that one power struggle which was never meant to make sense. And it seems this ones gonna be another penthouse with multiple seasons again. So yeah, imma drop it when I find something better. You could try out some other korean suspenses too, at.east they won't get you too bored after this genre especially.
