I agree! I am choosing to look past the flaws because I loved the couple and their chemistry, and the lack of misunderstandings or long periods of being separated that are so common with other historical dramas. Also it’s rare to have such a strong FL - there have been a lot of strong-willed FLs in other dramas but usually they aren’t as physically strong as the ML, like Li Changge, Huang Rong, Zhao Min, etc so I love that we got that with WRTW.

I really feel like it's going to be revealed in the end that this was all part of the video game the ML has been working on (probably due to Chinese censorship rules). I hope not though!
