I thought dropping the cake and letters on the floor was a great way for their relationship to end. That way Zeke…
Oh man the condescending accusatory tone Zeke had when he asked if Fifth was gonna break up with him. He’s lucky the cake ended up on the floor and not in his face.
If Zeke doesn’t find himself on his knees groveling at Fifth’s feet, apologizing for not only lying and cheating but gaslighting Fifth and being overall toxic and machismo, then he’s going right out into the dumpster fire with the rest of the series.
I've noticed that they are scattering the GMMTV regulars all over the place. some of their partners are playing…
Yeah the pilot trailer isn’t giving me much either (not that it needs to being an upfront pilot and all) but I trust this screenwriter and director implicitly and the source material (School 2013) is one of the best kdramas of all time. So I’m gonna be seated for this when it airs. The bromantic chemistry needs to be just right (and the queer subtext is a must) in order to remotely live up to Jongsuk and Woobin.
I don't understand the low rating. The story is a bit generic but this is actually a well-executed drama so far.
It’s because it’s not officially available internationally with eng subs, so impatient ninnies give it a bad rating rather than wait for official release or fan subs. Also most BLs get an immediate 7-range rating and slowly increase or decrease over time because no one has learned to grade on a curve.
The writer used his personal religious upbringing and conflict with his sexuality to make some art. It’s absolutely not ok to limit self expression because of how it may make others uncomfortable. If it’s triggering to someone, it’s better they just don’t watch it.
2gether all over again... The issue is Chimon cause Perth has shown us several times he has chemistry with anyone,…
Perth and Chimon have fantastic platonic chemistry but they are proving that platonic chemistry cant always translate into romantic chemistry (not everyone can be firstkhao lol). Although Perth is really giving it his all (as always).
Can someone explain the timeline of this show, in relation to the events of cutie pie and cutie pie 2 you? Also…
They explain the timeline in episode 1 but it could be confusing to some due to the snappy somewhat chaotic editing style. The events of this series take place approximately three years after the events of Cutie Pie 2 You.
Do you have to to watch Strong Woman Do Bong Soon to understand this?
No. It’s a spin off. The ML and FL from SWDBS will make an appearance and may be referenced, but you could watch it as a standalone. However, SWDBS still ranks as one of top kdramas of all time, so if you haven’t watched it, I urge you to do so. It was part of the circa 2017 Korean Wave (when kdramas and kpop first started to gain widespread attention particularly in Europe and North America) and it also marks the significant rise of the nice male leads trend, which has thankfully carried on to today.
do you mind telling how to opt for this,? I have iqiyi subscription as well. I tried to find it on my own, didn’t…
He did his own dubbing which is better than if someone else’s voice were used, but the dubbing doesn’t match his mouth and that bothers me so much. It’s why I usually cannot make it through dubbed cdramas. I also dislike the audio quality of dubbing. It sounds too fake. I often can’t watch anime (in original dub nor English dub) for the same reasons. Once in awhile I’m able to get used to the dubbing (Love Between Fairy and Devil is one example), but other times I find the line delivery from the dubbing actor to be so monotone or emotionless or conversely over-acted that I can’t finish the series despite enjoying everything else (The Kings Avatar for instance).
I’m looking forward to how they fix that. lol
Is it too much root color touch up spray or just a bad hair piece? I can’t tell anymore.
