Cuz if Miho was still alive, then Changho would have lost absolutely nothing in all this process. I mean yeah…
But the problem was that judging from PCH's reaction to his wife's death, it probably didn't make a difference at all! That has to be the least impact reaction to the death of someone he really loved in k-drama history.
after watching the last episode! Bcz, there are lot of lose ends! Where is the elder's actual son? That Real Psychopath,…
Radiation causes cancer, but not lymphoma. The writer should have used Leukemia, which is related to radiation, and can become ill very quickly. Lymphoma takes much longer to develop. For sure it is fiction. But it frustrates me if the writer is so lazy to verify some simple facts and pay no attention to whatever they write. Another example is that they should have used toxins from the chemical plant instead of radiation.

No, it actually makes ZERO sense. Radiation does NOT cause lymphoma. And Stage IV lymphoma is potentially curable with 64+ % 5 year survival rate. The way Doha died takes insane amount of radiation which a normal "chemical plant" cannot produce unless it does Uranium enrichment or has a nuclear reactor inside. Radiation travels, you don't need contacts or swallowing it. PCH would be in trouble standing there if that water has such high radiation.
I'm on ep 3 and came to see the reviews. I'm concerned about the ending. Feels like it doesn't have satisfactory…
I am on a different opinion. For me, I would not recommend this to my friend the watch it. I don't like lazy writer who does not even bother to ask a doctor or anyone with a science background if the things written is remotely possible or not. Ending? My first reaction was "WTF?"
It's your preference whether you like this drama or not.But this is not "hyped". A lot of people loved EAW as…
No one cares what you think or what I think. The TV ratings and Netflix numbers are what matters. Looks like you are the one who cannot accept that EAW is among the top 3 most watched K-dramas in history.
There is so much wrong scientifically and medically on the plot.....
- Radiation does not cause lymphoma - Stage IV lymphoma is considered potentially curable (and not terminal) - with 64 to 70% 5-year survival rate - You don't get this much radiation unless NK Chemical is doing Uranium enrichment or there is nuclear reactor inside. - Do Ha looks like he had Acute Radiation Syndrome, and it takes very high level of radiation exposure to die like this. We are talking nuclear power plant accident or something similar. If that water has such insane level of radiation, PCH won't be safe standing there next to the pool.
Interesting, people comment about how "casting an actual autistic actress as WYW would've been icing on the cake,"…
I agree. This is a drama, not a documentary. The actress has to be able to act as a character in the story; we cannot ask an autistic actress and go on camera and just be herself! Would real life doctors do a better job in Hospital Playlist? Would real life lawyers be more convincing in legal dramas? Should we use real life mafia in Vincenzo? The answer is no!
GirlFromNowhere commented below that this drama has the most comments among k-dramas, so I got curious and checked.…
And all of these pale when compared with the most commented drama in MDL - KinnPorsche with 169k comments and counting. It's basically more than the top 5 K-dramas or top 5 C-dramas combined. I am still dumbfounded as to why this Thai drama has so many comments.
from the radiation exposure of the chemical plant, they picked lymphoma - which unfortunately is not normally associated with radiation exposure! They should have stuck with Leukemia, but her lymphoma is very unlikely to be caused by radiation from the chemical plant.
Spoilers wanted..do the 2 main leads get together? Why is there a need of a season 2...i hate watching dramas…
Yes. There is no open ending. The drama was completed when no one was thinking about Season 2. Even now, only the CEO is pushing for Season 2, no one else has signed on. So it is still doubtful if it will happen at all.
EAW refuses to give up its reign on Netflix weekly Top 10 (Sep 5 to Sep 11). It remains at #1 Netflix's Non-English most viewed weekly top 10 at 31.6 Million hours viewed. And #3 overall English + Non-English TV.
And the total hours viewed has climbed to 538.4 million hours. But it looks like it will narrowly miss the #5 spot of the all time most watched top 10 within first 28 days and will remain at #6.

Korean title has always been "Big Mouse".
