This is a beautiful and depressing drama and that’s it. The actors did a great job, the directing and soundtrack was good too however as a personal opinion this is not the best drama just because it is the first top show, I feel there are other dramas bellow this one that are better written. Nevertheless I enjoyed watching this, I give it 8.5/10.

As for the ones I have seen already I really liked upcoming summer, I keep thinking about that movie (I even thought about it today) I can say I’m a fan of Leo Wu. I also liked the last two movies Rurouni kenshin!! That is why I want to watch another recommendation you made about one ok rock movie because renegades is my latest jam and well toru married Omasa Aya, which is my fav Japanese actress.

I was expecting a lot maybe because of the reviews and comments but i didn’t really like it. The beginning was interesting but the fact the FL kept taking her life’s decisions base on the ML was a turn off for me. Nevertheless the actors did a great job and the main leads were cute together.

Yes story of Ming lan it is indeed way too long but I hope you can give it a try someday, FL is the most intelligent And strong FL I have ever watched in a drama!

This was my first historical cdrama, I wish I could forget it all and watch it again and fall in love again! I see a lot of comments saying they dropped it which makes me surprise because this is a master piece, maybe they weren’t in the mood or are not ready to watch a complex story

Here comes my comment about this movie and all the saga, my favorite is the beginning but I have to admit that the fighting and the directing of this movie was excellent, I can tell they put a lot of work and money too. The acting is amazing and I loved to see some characters back and we were able to know they are changing like kenshin did. Here comes my special shout-out to Sato he is just *chef’s kiss* and to Misao, she is an incredible character I love her!!!!! And to be honest while watching the movie there was something that made me laugh because I remember watching another comment in the second or third movie saying “I can’t believe they thought kidnapping Kaoru again was a good idea” but oh well I enjoyed this saga and this movie

I think aoshi died because watchers were fighting in his name but not sure:( as for seta I understood he lives as wanderer like kenshin did too

That guy who belonged to 10 swords (sawagejo cho) when he went to Enichi and he asked him if he hated kenshin too which sawagejo said he wanted to try the sword and then he got killed and Enichi took his body to kenshin, does that mean that sawagejo was also supporting kenshin like seta sojiro? Please help me understand that!!

I'm currently watching this drama but it made me realized something and it is the reason why I can watch dramas with many episodes without stoping (NIF, Story of Minglan, Yanxi Palace, etc.) but there are some that I just get tired and it is because of the misunderstandings. I feel the story of Ning Yi is super interesting and I really want to keep watching it because I found Chen Kun as a great actor which makes me want to know better the character of Ning Yi but the way writers just keep making Zhi Wei misunderstand the ML, it just turns me off and I spoiler myself (maybe that is the other reason I keep stopping watching the episodes) by reading on the comments about some things that will happen in the future episodes which makes it hard to keep going...
However I will keep watching because of Ning Yi until I cannot take it anymore, I mean, the way Chen Kun keeps potraying Prince Chu is *chef's kiss*

I read comments blaming everybody and I found that quite interesting, I mean, they are characters that are supposed to represent normal people and it is ok for them to be scare to love again (that’s for ung), it is ok not to be confident about your feelings if the other person keeps telling you you destroyed them or they already have say they don’t want to be with you (this is for yeon soo), it’s ok to like a person we cannot control our feelings but we can control our decisions (for jiwoong and nj). And people please remember this is a kdrama we need angst before the happy ending 😅😅

I clicked on this for curiosity and it is actually a drama with some actors from Yanxi Palace as leads... I will watch it because they are amazing actors but I'm pretty sure I will remember the king of Yanxi Palace while I see the romance of both leads hahaha

I felt for Ung with the things he said on ep 7 and 8 that is why I agree with some of your points but in those eps we also got a glimpse of Yeonsu point of view that is why I don't dare to judge them yet who is at fault or who should we pity since Yeonsu keep saying she is not the only bad one and that he was also to blame for their breakup, I'm waiting for the writers to show us what really happened!!
