this drama is just as beautiful as I was expecting it to be, but those constant camera angle changes during conversations are driving me a bit insane 😭

I've noticed before on Youku that they sometimes had AI translated subtitles when episodes just released. There's probably something similar going on with iQiyi, but unfortunate that they haven't been fixed yet this long after airing 😅

there's actually a guideline in place that requires the actor/actress to pay out of their own pocket for their voice actors. I'm not sure about the other things involved though, like how much of it is their choice, the productions choice, etc. just that the production is not the one paying the dubbers.

I'm a little sad about the dubbing of the leads, I really love LYT's actual voice 😔

yeah, I usually just watch whatever comes out first 🤣 but viki is definitely my preferred platform for subs. netflix & the chinese platforms are bit too "literal", so sometimes phrases lose their meaning or won't make a lot of sense.

Viki subtitles are always the best :)

I can't lie, the only reason I managed to get through this drama was because of how much I loved our two main leads. everything else was totally ridiculous 😭 I'm not sure if I'm outgrowing idol dramas or if the scripts are just continually getting worse.

highest tier budget for a cdrama. expensive production, big names, huge marketing, etc!

I didn't watch TPR, but I'm definitely not impressed with his acting here 😭 he's always making the same expression, I feel nothing from him during those more emotional scenes
