He shouldn't have pushed her to date Jeong Won If he wants her.
Yesss the bromance~ It was so good. I hope you'll enjoy Bo Gum's performance if you get around to watching that series!
Yeah, I feel sorry for Hwa Shin and I also like some of the interactions and the back and forth dynamic he has with Na Ri~ Although he's clearly not the nicest person (and seems willing to backstab his friend over a woman now) so I'm still not completely sure what to think of him. I can only guess and hope that he'll grow a whole lot throughout the remaining episodes, especially if he and Na Ri end up together.

@K N > Just to add to the Park Bo Gum tangent, if you haven't seen him in I Remember You yet, I recommend giving that a watch! IMO he stole the show, and his interactions with Seo In Guk's character--especially towards the end--were really amazing and way more interesting than the relationship between the leads. I watched IRY before Reply 1988, so I think I was rooting equally for Taek and Junghwan since both actors are so good at expressing depth and feeling~
Edit: I'm also torn about who to root for between Hwa Shin and Jung Won... I think JW is pretty sweet with Na Ri, and yet I feel really bad for HS right now too.
This drama excites me so much. It has a very simple theme i.e. jealousy and its consequences but the way it's…
Yesss I love those little animated details and the changes in weather that echo or punctuate Hwa Shin's inner thoughts and feelings~ Such a nice touch!
Feelings are so much more confusing and complicated than dramas usually like to depict so this is such a breath…
Exactly what I was thinking! As of now (episode 10), I no longer worry that 24 episodes will feel repetitive or poorly paced; it seems like the length might suit this story well~ I hope that'll be the case!
Hahaha the sauna scenes in episode 2! Loved that 'A Whole New World' was the soundtrack~ I think I enjoyed the first episode a little more than episode 2, maybe because Louie's interactions with his butler/right-hand-man were so comical, but I'm definitely still on board and interested in the story. Regardless of genre, Seo In Guk has a charm about him that's always great to watch! I hope the amnesia thing and near-misses with company employees won't get too silly though...
Loving this so far! The first episode had some wicked humour and there are some really likeable characters already. Not sure who the writer is, but I like the pacing and style! Very interested to see where this is going~
This ended up being a lot better than expected! Although Kiritani Mirei was a little over-the-top in the first few episodes, her acting/the character mellowed out and became more believable as the show progressed. I had this on hold near the beginning and almost dropped this out of annoyance at Kiritani, but I'm glad I went back to it because it really does get so much better. The lead and supporting characters all show growth and development in some way, which is great. The outcome, in terms of who the heroine ends up with, could be predicted early on but I still enjoyed seeing everything unfold. Great watch and sweet ending~ Yamazaki Kento really shined!

Ooh thanks, I'll look out for that! Yang Yang is actually new to me too (I haven't watched many Chinese dramas or films in a long while) but he's definitely the main reason I kept watching this! I'll definitely look into his other work~

Yeahh that's probably what it is. This is the first time I've seen Zheng Shuang in anything, but I don't think I like her acting much either. She had some good moments but maybe a different actress would have done better in the role of Wei Wei. (And from the sounds of it, the character is supposed to be quite curvy? ZS definitely doesn't fit that description haha! Maybe I should get my hands on the book.) Usually that's enough for me to give up on a show, but I actually watched and enjoyed all the episodes lol! I guess that shows what a good story it is~ And some of the other cast members were really great to watch too. Hopefully there is or will be another leading role for Yang Yang opposite an actress we like better!

Even if we consider Wei Wei's inexperience, something is still lacking. As a shy person myself, and looking at this from the perspective of Wei Wei's character being shy and/or inexperienced, Zheng Shuang just doesn't look very natural or present in many of the intimate scenes. And unfortunately, right up until the last scenes of the final episode--which is supposed to be two years into her relationship, so she should no longer be new to kissing--the lead actress is still passive and unresponsive in every kiss. She belatedly embraces him back, but that's about it... she barely even tilts her face towards the poor leading man (who was definitely owning those kisses regardless haha). I expected more from her in the last episode, especially because she can emote well in other scenes (i.e. when Wei Wei is with her friends, etc.) so the character would seem more believable in the relationship if she could actually respond to her fiance's kiss after 2 years of dating lol. ;P Basically, Wei Wei is either dodging and running away, or passively accepting. Yang Yang managed to carry those scenes well, considering!
It's episode 7 for heavens sake, why are the writers still bent upon showing us the relationship between Hae Soo…
Ugh I stalled after episode 3 exactly because I was afraid that was going to happen. Plus, it annoys me that the 2nd lead is a married man... (or are all the princes married?)
Am I the only one still loving this drama so much? Like this is one amazing story! I have so much respect for…
I'm still loving it too! The concept is so unique and both the atmosphere and acting are still impressive to me. The story went in a different direction than I expected it to, but I appreciate it even more for that~ Looking forward to the conclusion!

Haha yes, exactly!
Thanks, that's good to hear! I'll likely pick this up again after it's finished airing and been subtitled, so I can binge watch the rest of the episodes lol! I guess I don't like waiting to get to the good stuff. ;)
