That’s one of my favorite scenes!!! I laughed so hard when I read that. And also LTY being afraid that she will end up molesting him since he’s a teenager. I cracked up when she was surprised how vigerous and unrestrained he was too! 😂😂

If they do it like in the novel SJ will figure out on his own that LTY is from a diff realm. it happened in the demon realm. The modern arc is one of my fav ones bc SJ is so unrestrained in that one but also very much himself. I hope they do that arc well!

I can definitely understand your POV. But I think in this particular drama the ordinary/weak archetype is fitting. Sima Joao has dealt with the layered strong cunning personalities his whole life. He doesn’t even understand ordinary nor does he know what it feels like. He has only ever known betrayal and violence. To me, the whole point is for him to deal with someone who is truly ordinary to understand what loving and caring for someone is and in turn, knowing what it feels like to be treated with care and love, and also to have some real peace in his otherwise very violent life. 😀

If it follows the novel it shouldn’t be bad. Her personality remains the same and she grows a lot in this arc. 😁

Out of all the couples they have the best communication thus far. I love that they talk through things when they have a disagreement. And today’s episodes were such a great example of how SJ is learning about consent in a relationship.

I loved the way they handled it. That was by far one of the best “define the relationship” scenes I’ve seen. I’m so glad there were no misunderstandings between them.

I know right. I wondered how they would show all the intimate scenes we had in the novel. I’m loving this drama and I think CFY was perfectly cast as SJ. His micro expressions are just perfect. Especially when he saw how wounded LTY was. You could literally see him shaking in rage and just trying to hold it all in. Today’s episodes were chef’s kiss!
