But it makes sense bc she is also dealing with trauma. Trauma like that doesn’t just disappear with a pretty and neat explanation. I feel for both sides bc they both did what they thought best at the time with the information they had. It’s so easy to place blame but in all honesty it’s different for everyone when dealing with something as traumatic as what she went through. it’s so easy to say she caused her own mess but being in her shoes, I’m not sure I would have made different choices either. When you love someone you will do anything for them and she loved those mortals like her own family. The loss of a child is something that is hard to go through. I watched a family member lose her son and even now, 20 years later, it is still gut wrenching. My think for HRY, she needed something or someone to blame. That’s the only way she could get through it. As terrible now as it is, hating and trying to kill BJS is what kept her going and gave her a sense of purpose. Now that reason has been taken away. I’m sure at this point she is confused and has no clue what to do next. I’m think it’s important to note that she wanted to die with him.

His crazy story arc will be over soon. He only shows up once more but not for XRR. However the drama did change his character a bit but I’m pretty sure it will be over once they release the Dragon.

I def agree with your sentiment here. In a perfect world that’s exactly how it should be and it would be great if they could do that. But I think for him it’s traumatic and he just doesn’t have the ability to cope with it. I also think he probably feels that he doesn’t deserve her help. earlier in the memory he told SY that they were the same kind of people and both of them should not be around her in her new incarnation. I think he’s making his judgments based off of this. Unfortunately, she is MQG after all and she NEVER gives up. In the end he better thank his lucky stars that she stuck with him no matter what! lol.

Love your comment. The only thing I have to disagree with is about SYS not deserving her. I can understand him not wanting to tell her anything. She already lost her life once taking on his burden. He doesn’t want her to repeat the same thing. When you think about it, if he tells her anything, knowing her personality, she would do the exact same thing all over again and end up losing her life again. I don’t think SYS could watch that happen again. I understand why he’s trying to cut her off from all the concerns.

That’s my thought too. I can’t wait for him to realize that the only reason she helped him was for SYS only. lol. But knowing how delusional he is, I’m sure he won’t accept that.

Very well put. The are indications of how SY used her against SYS in the earlier episodes. And I love how SYS said that they were the same kind of people and that she didn’t need either of them in her new incarnation. That statement alone shows how much he wants to allow her to be free from all of that mess between the royal family. SYS is really the only one who truly understands her.

From what I remember that’s part of the tribulation. He was very arrogant and emotionless and he said he wanted to replace the celestial emperor. The emperor basically said that he would then need to go to the mortal world as a demon and cultivate into the immortal way, which is unheard of lol.

It’s the best amnesia arc. it’s so funny and entertaining bc XRR uses her old notes on learning how to tame him. She flirts outrageously with him and he totally caves. it’s so cute and funny.

There’s quite a bit to it but basically they are both from the heavenly realm. MQG/XRR was a spiritual fruit about to be born and SYS was a high ranking immortal. Long story short, SYS was resting under the tree and was about to be bitten by some poisonous creature and the fruit was trying to help him but accidentally fell off the tree and landed in his lap. he got in huge trouble bc she was being nurtured on the tree as she was the daughter of the celestial emperor and holy mother. SYS got blamed for picking the fruit and he was punished by having to go through a tribulation in the mortal world. Right as he was about to descend, he grabbbed the fruit out of spite and forced her to go to the mortal realm too, lol.

It’s true. I’m not sure if they will show that part but there was a prior history before they met as MQG and SYS. So in reality, XRR and SYS is the third time they meet.
