When Taehee was supposed to dress up for the meeting I was hoping she'd show up with one of Joy's Bad Boy baddie looks ready to step on everyone but then she still ended up looking so innocent with her makeup and hair falling flat
(I mean yeah I suppose bad boy outfits were more street-style than the classy look they were going for but uknow just the overall vibe...)
Absolutely in love with this! The cast is doing an amazing job and I like the storyline too. Kwangsoo is such a great actor, I wish he had more lead roles.
I am so annoyed with how fast Taehee fell for Shihyun!!!
They introduce her as someone who isn't so naive as to fall for a guy easily, especially for someone as cunning as Shihyun, and I loved how she saw right through him in the beginning. But then what happened? He hangs out with some grannies ONCE and suddenly he's some kind of sweet and misunderstood marshmallow boy under a hard exterior?
Why do they always make even the smartest characters so stupid in the end??
Yuudai is just a massive child with a lot of growing up to do...
"I want you to put on my socks for me" umm........ excuse me? maybe try dating lonely 40 year olds who are actually looking for young boys to baby after then....
I feel like this is a more forced take on Terrace House, as in the people living in the house HAVE to pursue romance. It was interesting to see the commentators’ analyses on the members’ actions, but once again if I compare it to TH then it is very dry and not as enjoyable.
It’s an interesting spin Koreans have taken on TH, but anyone who hasn’t seen it and wants another season of HS should definitely watch TH. The interactions between members are so much realer (I will never believe that the scene with Yoonkyung and Jang Cheon was a coincidence lol) and the commentators are a hundred times better.
i mean if they look younger than their actual age, i think it's fine. the cast for the most part look very young…
Junghyun doesn’t look younger than he is, however, and that really put me off because I cannot support romance in a drama which looks like it’s going on between a 16 and 27 year old... true, 2013 was worse with those two but at least they match between themselves
is nobody else bothered by how they explained how the grim reapers got their numbers? 416: 16th April. Makes sense. What about 007? 444? where did those numbers come from?? did I miss something or??
Y’all complaining about this sound like u had no idea what u signed up for when you started watching this. Have u not read any high school mangas before??
I think this is a great thing to watch when you want something lighthearted where you don’t have to use your brain and just want to take some time off from life.
I feel like this is so overrated. I decided to watch it because I saw a lot of positive comments, but in the end it was a waste of time. I'm just glad it was only 8 episodes.
Myungsoo's acting is absolutely horrible here, lmao Even though this drama is short, I feel like it dragged a lot and would actually be better fit to be a movie. They reignited my interest with the shift of the POV, but the story was never anything more than lukewarm.
I really can't bring myself to give it anything over 4/10. If it was a movie with a different male lead then it could've earned more points from me.
Saw this in the cinema today and I cried so many times... it’s a really good movie on the events of Gwangju, solid 10/10. A must watch for anyone who says they’re interested in Korea beyond Kpop
