Honestly I regret watching the second season because for me it was so boring and ruined the overall great image I had of the story from the first season.
The plot is packed, but not hard to follow. There was a good amount of light humor in it as well which I greatly appreciate. By the end of it I was in tears due to the heaviness of the plot and how close to home it hits. A fantastic movie!
I've made it to episode 2 finally and does the show get any better? I was absolutely bored during the first episode.…
Well judging from your watch list and scores I’d just say this drama isn’t for you. The shittiest dramas on here can have the highest ratings so I never rely on them tbh. For what it’s worth, in my opinion this is a really good drama though because the characters are mature and the actors are good. The latest episode was definitely the most enjoyable one, the pace seems a bit better now.
I'm so confused.. can someone clear it up for me? I haven't read the manga and just watched this because I was bored out of my mind but... if Hisame was born when Shigure was like 9-10, then shouldn't he be like 10 (since Shigure said something like "for the past 10 yrs" or sth at one point)? Because Yukina and Shigure are still in high school themselves, but I swear Hisame is made out to be like one year younger. What's the deal with this??
This movie deserves a way better synopsis! It sounds so boring and I would never watch it based on it but thank god I saw some comments saying it's good.
It's nothing overly thrilling but a very enjoyable movie nonetheless! The very last frame of this movie is the best! Had me smiling like an idiot for ten minutes.
I've had this on my to watch list because of Lee Sung Kyung but the comments on seeing on it are making me apprehensive....…
I expect you to be flooded with answers which tell you not to bother but honestly overall I like it. I suggest you give it a go and decide for yourself whether you want to finish it.
You must be monolingual not to understand this. If you’ve ever learned a foreign language you’ve certainly…
But there are so many different viewers that it’s impossible to build up a drama to please everyone. You might find it silly and distracting but I actually find it relatable and I like how they speak in two different languages. To me it’s fun. So in this case, who should the writer listen to?
One weird thing about this drama is when they meet up with that high powered Chinese speaker. Like does he understand…
You must be monolingual not to understand this. If you’ve ever learned a foreign language you’ve certainly come across the feeling where you understand what is being said but you’re not confident/ comfortable enough to reply back in that language yourself because it is not your mother tongue.
I think I have at least five customers at work every day who speak Russian to me and I speak Estonian back to them and we both understand each other perfectly, which is why something like this never seemed weird or unnatural to me.
I think the way this season was edited together was absolute bullshit honestly. First off the timeline was an absolute mess and it makes no sense making the panel guess their lovelines and then next week reveal things which happened last week and actually affected their decisions. I loved Jaeho and Daeun together SO much like they were so cute with their movie nights and doing face masks, but they got so little screen time. Meanwhile, pretty much the whole season was built on the Hyunwoo and Youngju couple for no reason at all.
I got real sick of Hyunwoo and Youngju’s dynamics real fast to be honest. They both wanted to like each other so much but in reality they didn’t work well together at all. Personally I’m very glad Hyunwoo picked Hyunju in the end because he was so much more open and comfortable with her. I grew so sick of Youngju and how absolutely THICK she was acting with the constant misunderstandings and unnecessary stress. I know this is a major unpopular opinion but I was really frustrated trying to watch Hyunwoo and Youngju desperately make it work when to me it was so obvious that these two just don’t work at all. I felt no excitement between them. It was like witnessing a car crash in slow motion.
While I’m already sharing unpopular opinions, I really don’t understand people bashing Hyunju and saying she was using Dogyun? I saw it more as her understanding that Hyunwoo had his mind set on someone else and trying to move on. I really think she was trying to make her heart go towards Dogyun because she felt his sincerity and how good he would be for her and to her. She was trying to fool herself into liking Dogyun just as Hyunwoo was trying to convince himself that Youngju is the one for him. But it’s hard to fight the heart so I’m glad she was honest in her decision in the end. What really would’ve been dirty would’ve been her choosing Dogyun because he was a safe bet.
Out of all the dramas I’ve watched I think this is the first time I cannot agree with people dropping this and saying it’s boring.
Maybe it’s just my infinite love for the whole life clock thing, but to me this drama is very interesting. People are complaining about the love confession happening too early in the story whereas I’m here like hallelujah finally that shit doesn’t get dragged out.
Anyways, it all comes down to personal taste but I just wish that there were more positive comments on this drama because I don’t think it’s half as bad or boring as the existing comments are making it out to be!
To be honest I wasn't expecting much chemistry between the leads, because I thought Sungkyung is better fit to play younger characters like in Weightlifting Fairy, but ep 3-4 were very pleasantly surprising and I can't wait to see more of them!
I am actually very surprised with how they are portraying the second female lead in this drama. Soobong is like a breath of fresh air to be honest. She is not your typical evil rich woman out to ruin someone's relationship for her own benefit. She's trying to protect her own.
Which is the reason this is a bit hard for me to watch. It's easier to root for the main couple when they are the ones facing hardships but here Mika is essentially portrayed as a marriage wrecker (tho I guess they're not even engaged yet and it's all business for Doha...)
Either way I am looking forward to seeing how the story progresses. I really hope they don't make Soobong stoop low and play dirty and she keeps being classy about things.
Hopefully next season is better.

It’s just multilingual people being efficient.
