Look, I would give it a low score for the dissapointment. I mean, the writer clickbaited HJP's fans even in episode…
As I said, a low score in general is fine as long as it’s justified. Giving it a 1/10 just because you’re bitter about a few things is just laughable and shows that you’re unable to be even a little objective.

First off, the 1/10 ratings represent such a tiny portion of the overall ratings. 2% according to the stats. So…
I think you are honestly way too invested in trying to protect Jipyeong and make Dosan out to be the loser depthless guy here. All I’m saying is that he is not someone I can sympathise with and I’m not even talking about Dosan at all, I’m not comparing the two (apart from when I said that Dosan wanted to confess earlier).

From my point of view, the 1/10 reviews sound unreasonable and that’s that. How does it make sense to rate the acting and OST 10/10 but give an overall 1/10. THAT’s what I’m taking about. It needs to score 1/10 across everything for such a rating to be justified. I’m not opposed to people having different opinions if they are explained.

You’re just assuming what I meant and are not actually seeing what I’m saying.

The reason I specifically pointed out the 1/10 rating was because one of the top reviews is rated as such, which for me makes no sense. If the OST and acting is good, then that’s already enough to give it a higher rating. And yes, it’s no masterpiece either.

While reading some of the comments and reviews, the disappointment of Dosan ending up with Dalmi was often worded as if it was a surprising heartbreak after rooting for Jipyeong. I didn’t say Jipyeong was an evil unredeemable character, but for me personally, throughout the drama, the way he was written literally not even once made me be on his side or to sympathise with him. I started disliking him from how he was portrayed as a teenager. Yes, he was having a hard time, but I can’t stand the way he acted towards the grandma because of the money. It’s not that “according to me” he didn’t believe in Dalmi, but he just didn’t. The way he ran to her rescue after hearing about the reporter was a clear sign of it for me. In that situation, nothing had changed between then and when Dalmi had to deal with Injae’s step-family,l in the beginning, even though three years had passed. Sure, his character developed and he was able to get that stick out of his ass and revealed his more gentle side in the end, but in my eyes that’s not enough to suddenly start liking him after he’s been a big negative Nancy the whole story.

That being said, I didn’t sympathise with Dosan too much either, but I think he was a better fit for Dalmi in the end. They had a similar mindset when it came to business and whether it’s too unrealistic for the real world or not, they understood each other.

I think you read too deeply into what I said initially. I’m not calling anyone who thinks differently crazy, I was just stating another opinion because i don’t agree with the Jipyeong lovers.

Again, the plot is GENERIC. It’s not the best thing out there but it’s also not the worst thing ever written, if you look at it objectively.
If you’re not open to have a discussion then why even leave such a pointless comment lol

It was really disappointing that the character of Seo Chung Myung(Dal Mi and In Jae's father) didn't get a proper…
The father’s death was literally the most straightforward thing in the plot. He got hit by a car (which WAS shown) and it resulted in his death. His nosebleeds, his hands shaking and loss of speech ability were signs of brain damage. Had he gone to the hospital he might’ve survived. In the end he just ran out of time, so to speak.

I’m reading the reviews and I’m trying to understand where all this harsh critique is coming from but I really can’t. There is no way in hell this drama deserves a 1/10 as a rating. That’s just ridiculous biased hate tbh.

The OST and acting were good and it was a generic drama plot.

Was I the only one who found it obvious from the beginning that it was Dalmi and Dosan endgame?

I despised Jipyeong as a character way more. He was the one who dragged Dosan into it and started the ridiculous spiral of lies in the first place. He was the one who was desperate for the lie to not get out when Dosan wanted to come clean. All he did was belittle and put down Dalmi and Dosan. The writers tried to change him into a better person but he was petty and didn’t believe in Dalmi until the end.

Saw it in the cinema today and the movie was quite disappointing not bc of the story but it felt like I was watching a computer game play through? Pretty much everything is cgi but not the good kind...
Also it felt like they filmed it on a cheap camera or sth bc most of the movie is dark and the quality of it is so bad, black being some weird saturation of green and red. Felt almost like it was a damaged file or sth, definitely not cinema quality in that sense!

Without giving any spoilers (I’m on ep 9), is this drama safe from a second season? I don’t think I want to finish this if I will have to wait for a year for something more ..

At first I wished they stuck to the classic kdrama format of 16eps total hard end not to drag things out but now I’m like THIS NEEDS TO RUN FOR TEN MORE YEARS!!!

I already miss this cast so much I can’t wait for season two!!

I watched it because of all the comments praising it but honestly this was one of the worst movies I’ve watched recently.

Very little makes sense and the mix of thriller and comedy does not work for me. I literally only laughed once during the whole movie and that was in the first ten minutes. The only reason I sat through it was for Jungsuk...

Save your time and watch something that’s actually good.

I didn't expect to see such harsh comments about this movie. I found it very beautiful and it made me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Maybe I was just in the right mood when watching this, but this is one of my favorite movies now!

Okay, yeah, not evil, but tbh she was one of the more annoying characters for me. The scene in the hospital where she asked Minhee if she isn’t gonna talk unless they find Jisoo dead really angered me. And just overall in my opinion she seemed to lack sense when it came to talking to teenagers so she wasn’t likeable to me at all.

Why are there so many comments about Gyuri being annoying? Quite frankly, the only “good” character was the homeroom teacher, everyone else had something evil in them.

I also realized that for that same reason I wasn’t really rooting for anyone at all or hoping for any kind of certain ending.

The suspense was definitely there the whole time and it’s an amazing movie as far as cinematography, acting and soundtrack are concerned BUT I really didn’t like the lack of plot and found myself bored a lot of the time.
