I've been seeing "Just in Time for Spring" as the English title.

Sure, it was cliche and predictable and yet I really liked how it played out. The body language, his words, the "anger"? The ML actor did a very good job of portraying a man in denial of the fact that he was absolutely worried and scared because he has completely fallen and is completely smitten. Was it the most mature reaction? Hell no. But was it true to his character? Yes. It was also a crack in the ML supposed composed persona, adding an emotional layer to his character.

I am pleasantly surprised. Absolutely glad for clicking on this in Netflix. After 3 episodes, I am finding this drama very cute and interesting. Been in a kdrama slump lately and it looks like a good 'ol romcom is the one that's going to get me out of it. Great chemistry with the leads. I hope they can sustain this just right amount of comedy, romance with a sprinkling of intrigue until the end.

And this is supposed to be a "partial" list. I mean, that is quite a lot! Not complaining, though. 🤭🤭🤭 But for a moment, I still thought of DEX as that 15 year old girl in Flourish in Time, and then realize she has been an adult for a few years now.... I hope this series airs soon!

I think the make-up crew did a great job with SG's appearance - the sallow skin tone and dry lips are very realistic for someone with her disease.

Gosh, I really want to watch this. 😩 I hope streaming sites would have this someday. 🤞

A good adaptation starts with a good script but it seems like MDL doesn’t have info about the screenwriter. But the director seems to have a good track record, especially when it comes to youth drama, so there is that. And with good actors playing the main leads, it looks like this adaptation has hope to be a good one.

When you posted about not being sure about her visual, I interpreted it as such, the visuals. I haven’t read the novel so I thought, is Xu Sui that physically/visually different from the actress? If it’s about vibe and personality of the character, well she’s an actress. It’s part of her job, and the director’s and screenwriter’s the entire cast really, to create the vibe and personality of the character. It just felt weird for me reading that hopefully the actress can bring justice to the pairing, a responsibility that should be carried by the two people in that pair and the rest of the production team.

Late to the party but I’m glad I picked this up. Only in episode 15 but I am loving this. 👍👍👍Great acting from the cast, plot going well so far, good chemistry between all the actors, and good character development from the main leads. I hope it’s sustained for the rest of the series.
