I thought the drama was doing well based on the charts? Someone posted that it was #1 or was it #2? Or are we talking about platform heat index? This is also airing in other TV networks so how do they track viewership for those?

Still baffles me why people would want to spoil the story for themselves but that's just me. I don't really know the dynamics of DYX FC, Haitangs, is but for me, this is such an incredible role for DYX. I don't personally need his roles to be glamorous or always righteous or the shining general and the like. This role is giving him so much room to showcase his acting and he's giving it.

Comments below. Hating on the characters for not acting like they expected. I dunno. Hating the story coz it's not going where they want it to go? Some expectations versus reality discordance? Or just projections of their own frustrations? People be making mental script edits of how the characters and story should be? Or maybe a mix of everything?

Don't read too much into the previews. I suggest to watch the next episodes and judge for yourself. And skipping 1 or 2 episodes would completely put you out of the plot and story progress since they pack a lot in one episode. Those short clips of highlight scenes hardly give justice to the entirety of the episodes.

Funny. I remember one drama where there were tons of comments saying the FL was stupid because she can't read the ML's mind.

Not everyone is ready or comfortable with facing the "uncomfortable". On the flip side, I think it means that the drama is doing it's job in making people feel conflicted about the changes in the characters.

I thought that TRTS team had put a tight lid on this script. Iirc there weren't any noise about it during the filming period.

This was one thing I feared when they confirmed this collab, that there will be comparisons about their chemistry and dynamics here and in MOGA. But I guess it can't be avoided.

I absolutely loved them in MOGA and their chemistry was great. But the characters and dynamics here in TRTS are too different from MOGA for me to even compare the two. There's a degree of maturity in the chemistry of their characters here that is different but just as good as it was in MOGA. And I absolutely love them here in TRTS. So for me, it's not one is better than the other. At least that's how I see it.

At least in the series, this may be the first time ZL is dealing with a jealous TY. She had never been jealous or had had no reason to be jealous in the past. And FTY had always been straightforward about her thoughts but this time she wasn't. And I think that is because for the first time, TY is feeling a little bit insecure in their relationship. As Sanniang said, she has waited five years. And when faced with a woman being baited as ZL concubine, ZL could not even say that it will always be just TY and there will never be anyone else because TY is enough. Instead we hear ZL talkf about the salt reform and how he could not straightaway turn away the woman. Which just fueled her jealousy and insecurity. Her jealousy and inability to communicate her beginning insecurity are all new to ZL and he's fumbling trying to understand this side of TY.
