sand, mew and cheaum are the only good people on this show. i think top is redeemable but ray is much more despicable for doing the same thing knowing what mew went through and after having the gall to yell out that mew deserves better… and yet. gosh. i feel that showing how ray is bad for mew could’ve been done in a more nuanced and redeemable way. what am i supposed to do? still root for sand/ray when i wouldn’t want ray around anyone i cared for? sigh…

my dude, at least they are good at the romantic part. nobody is saying they are masterpieces, but they need to deliver on something. after all if you make a mystery/thriller + bl, either one or both need to deliver. like, for instance NOT ME. but this creates a situation where neither the romance nor the thriller is truly good.
sigh, look i think its fine to think this is better than whyru and tharntype, more than fine, i totally see why. those are produced weakly, with messy pacing and in production quality especially MOD is clearly superior. but im a BL watcher, so im looking for primarily romance even though ill accept romance taking a massive backseat if the rest is doing a really good job. this wasnt the case here. and whyru and tharntype deliver on romantic execution and acting even if the rest is subpar.
do you think i wasnt tempted to look at what ppl who left comments i disagree with’s pages and make a similar petty remarks? but ultimately doesnt it make sense that we are all looking for a personal, particular thing especially from a genre that seems to tap into the personal more than any such as romance?

the acting was good, especially the MC but the ML was uneven
i mean why watch this? its not enough of a good crime/law/mystery thing to justify its existence and the it also gives a very underwhelming and lacking romantic subplot.
its been max a couple of weeks since this death of his (basically) daughter and he is smilling at how cute his love interest looks and skipping at the farmers market? really takes you out of it
a surprisingly large amount of yearning (emotional) and wanting (physical) in this. i dont even need payoff but…
production quality is very up and down and mostly down but its not so bad that you cannot enjoy whats working. and whats working is quite good!
lots of yearning, lots of wanting, lots of buildup that doesnt stagnate, lots of romance, much chemistry, good acting and strong romantic arc for the main couple especially.
i dunno how this can be rated harshly for production issues when ABO Desire isnt.
(ABO Desire was laughably bad in this regard, worse than amature stuff but we all cut it slack by understanding the circumstances but theres only so much slack to cut before a review has no contact with reality anymore)
