ahh that makes sense! but i was talking more the actual plot and storytelling is much more cdrama than kdrama. not in idea or outline but in style and execution

i know, but there have been cdrama remakes before and none of them felt quite as cdrama as this one. anyway this one is iconic to me, remake or no

i think its clearly overrated. its not so beloved because its THAT good its because its broadly appealing, easy and comforting. its mass appeal is super strong.

i personally was finding it tedious after the halfway point, the gimmick wasn’t enough for a binge. i think those who watched week by week didnt notice the same things.

im definitely watching this but OH NO i hate love triangles, hope its not done in a bad way

i feel i fucked up by not following this week to week. binging this isn’t ideal. im at ep 6 and its shtick is getting a bit old for me.

i agree entirely, im glad you see it that way. some of my favorite things are flawed. it depends too much on the nature and amount of flaws.
