theory: i think maybe liu feng is their actual ancestors and there was some mixup in the records/portrait they had. thoughts?

the brother’s wife sucks and theres no excuse for her choosing to abandon her child as well. theres no indication that shes kept a active relationship with the little girl as the family doesnt even remember or factor her in (including the daughter herself) after coming to this era.

im so curious how they will resolve the timeline thing. it cant be that she is her own many times great grandmother right??

you compared it to game of thrones at all, that means you are looking for citrus in antartica. i mean its truly ok to feel this fell short but i think your lense (aka game of thrones and such shows) made it so it never stood a chance.

because of the nature of his role, most times having to seem foolish and such, i never appreciated what a good performance Qin Tianyu gives. props to him!!

i think i was in the mood for a different dynamic this time. but yes this is great news for when i decide to continue it. i think i wouldve been way more into it if neither of them remembered their original love story at first and had a chance to fall fresh in love, but thats just a preference regarding past lives stories and not a criticism.

i find her extreme naivety and delusion very realistic for a princess who has always had things go her way, and i like a character arc where all that blows in her face and she must remake herself informed by those grave mistakes. i enjoy that type of thing.

and the award for annoying fool in denial goes to the insufferable (for me) Situ Ling
