Choi Gyu Ri who plays Yoo Hee Yeon is soooo beautiful and lovely!
Like I am already loving her role as the bubbly co-worker/true friend but this is the first time I am seeing her in a drama and she is so beautiful π Also just saw she is born in 2000 which makes her 23/24 but then she seems so mature and I thought she must a seasoned actress close to PMY!
Just started this, 30 minutes into the 1st episode - and how many times Na In Woo is going to swoop in and save her?
Please tell me this gets better and there is actual story out there, not a cringe-fest π I really am getting into makjang dramas like these - having seen Perfect Marriage Revenge and Remarriage and Desires. Hope I am on a right track, even though am taking a chance with watching PMY (yes, she is talented but am not a hardcore fan)
EDIT: I have finished watching 3 episodes, and loving it so far! GO PMY!
Second that! Kind of biased towards Cinderella trope stories, and it remains one of my fac childhood anime and…
Like apart from UKISS - where I just knew of him, I saw him first in Love and Leashes. And boy, that guy was a puppy and then in one scene does a complete 180 and is super sexxxxyyyyy. Like whaaattt! *fanning myself thinking of it*
But then back to back I have seen him in psycho roles - DP, Mask Girl and latest Brave Citizen. I mean I love him there too - cause he is such a fantastic talented guy but we need him back in rom-coms!
I actually have Imitation in PTW - May I Help You and Don't Date Him I dropped cause the reviews were not so good :/ How did you like it?
Really hope this drama does great and we have him back on the romance turf. And yes I don't mind another BDSM themed one either π we need a Korean Mr Grey and Jun Young has experience, maybe a reverse from his previous preference? ππ€£ Drama-makers please make note!

tbh lunaβs character is actually so interesting. she has a lot of trauma and is like literally insane in the…
For the 2nd point - I am with you but I think for them the phrase was: "λλ λμ/nalang nolja (Play With Me)" that portrayed that love. And of course the support throughout. Though it was borderline excessive, just imagine that IRL *creepy*
But yeah, I think it was that subtle, mature love/support that need not be put into action? Kind of like what "Always" (Snape, Harry Potter) emoted.
Towards the end it is revealed that Luna is gradually poisoning Sseum β not in order to kill her but so that she can look after her and be close to her. Luna is hurt and in pain of having been abandoned at an early age and this damaged psyche led her to take these wrong actions as she searched for another mother figure.
This is how a drama should be done - Maestra-stroke! π It was not perfect or earth-shattering and had some flaws but kept me engaged, even though we had to wait a week for it.
Also while I was hooked on to K-dramas due to the short format 16/20 episodes but am loving how in recent years many dramas are delivering so well even in 12/14 episodes!
The culture holds people accountable for what the West would consider as "old fashion" morals. Children often…
I understand where they are coming from - this is their way of setting an example and reprimanding the family members and extended families. But then it is so unfortunate that the wrongdoings of one member is affecting someone who has no role in the wrong act whatsoever!
The ML and FL haven't kiss yet. Although they came within inches from doing so in the end credits. Perhaps S2…
Ahhhhh! I think my heart will not be able to take the cuteness but yesss! definitely need that! Their subtle romance needs to evolve now in S2. It is not even in production and am already excited!
I guess we have still not learned from the recent news. Condemn the act and separate it from the artist's work and personal life.
Like what has the son done? I am sure he had 0% involvement in the affair. So why is his cameo being impacted - which in a way will deter his future aspirations?
And will doing this canceling erase the actor's mistake? The reason he has a lawsuit and will be paying the fine is punishment already. Why does everything else have to cancelled. Fine, if through this we want to create examples in society - do it in a better way. Like suspend him from activities for a while or as deemed fit. But that would make sense if you are not giving any other punishment.
Also are we doing this to set examples to reform those who do mistakes, or driving them to a wall so that they have no choices and end up making hard choices?
I guess for all the things I love about Korean culture, this has to be one of the most illogical and baseless things I keep reading and re-reading about. I really hope it stops...
I think this would be an interesting pair to watch!
And of course my love, Lee Jun Young - guessing this is going be a SML role for him, but man how has this man grown. Talented Singer and Actor π
So happy for him ~ can't wait to watch him in his new works

This is one of the unique/clever/funny revelations scenes ever! π

Plus Lee Jun Young π

Or maybe it did not cross our minds - am very curious π

This drama needs more attention!
Anyone can suggest any drama/movie of this in a modern setup?
