4 episodes so far - and each episode truly has an ebb and flow. For me, the first half of each episode is a little slow trying to elaborate the plot and characters, and the latter half of the episode just jets off in neck-break speed with the mystery.
It is a good formula, cause I am definitely hooked to see how the past and present worlds will collide and hopefully the chemistry between the lead pair intensifies (it is good but I hope it gets better).
Can't wait for Ep 5 (inwardly cursing myself why I give in to the temptation of watching on-air dramas and then cry at the wait)
이미담(Lee Mi Dam)looks like the FL mother. She is the mother of the FL in Modern Times too I am sure of it.
I doubt she can be the mother of the FL in present time. As per me, since FL has time travelled - she should not have any relationships in the modern world. In fact after the scene in Ep 4, where the ML and his secretary have got hold of the information about FL's father, it seems the story would be to have FL as a time traveler only.
This is why she is actually meeting fellow time travelers & reincarnations. Time travelers - like her lady-in-waiting Sa Wol, and the mysterious women Cheon Myeong, and maybe Midam too (her mother). Though I feel latter is also a reincarnation just like the ML, Tae Ha and his aunt, step mom etc.
Okay, so who is this long haired girl at ML's office. I don't like the way she looks at him.
She definitely has a crush on him, and to me looks borderline creepy/stalker given how she knows things about him. Till now no one apart from family knows that Tae Ha has gotten married - so I guess when Ep 5 airs and everyone will know about Park Yeon Woo, we might see this office woman's true color show.
Who knows maybe she will join in evil stepmom or stepbrother in their schemes to attack her rival, Yeon Woo?
My theory is: Just like in 'You who came from the stars', the in-law here (of course that evil witch stepmom of…
Well the stepmom is definitely the culprit for sure. Let's see how they figure it out in the present day. Also Kang Tae Min we do not have his counterpart in the past Joseon time, am excited to see who it would be, if any....
I was confused about this first. Have not researched all titles but I guess cause most of his popular ones were just romance/life/melos etc. Maybe that's why...?
I am coming across this in 2023 - due to a list shared on MDL. It is a theme that I usually shy away and seeing the trailer & summary Two things come to my mind, as a hardcore Shawol:
1. Minho character being bullied is something that will be hard to digest 😅 I mean he is always on fire and such an extrovert in real life.
2. Saw that this drama aired in Aug/Sept 2017, and Jonghyun passed away in Dec 2017. I cannot even begin to imagine (again) what must have gone through Min-ho's mind. To have played a character that tries to prevent a friend from committing suicide, to be actually going through it IRL.
Me watching Byeon Woo Seok in: 20th Century Girl / Strong Girl Namsoon / Soulmate - Me at Start: I can't wait to see how his character shapes up, he is so dreamy/hot 🔥❤️🔥😍 - Me in the end: 😭💔 #inconsolable
So am anticipating this drama super eagerly, cause even if he is going to be dead from Ep 1, at least the ending will be happy. FINALLY!
Hae Na breaked the ancestral curse, and Hae Na and Seo won romance started at the same time. Another 6 days for…
Seriously - like the episodes are amazing when they air. But the wait is just killing which for me kind of kills the enjoyment of the episode when it airs.
Take note - Drama-makers, we need at least 2 episodes per week T_T
Suddenly, she transformed from a dog to a fully-clothed human! Why? Hahahaha!
I was just going to comment it. All this time, she does not and hence has awkward moments to avoid the nakkey situation. But in Ep 8 - this logic flew out the window like what 🤣🤣🤣 I was expecting some Fruit Basket moment here and awkward Nunu 😅
I just finished watching the film, and overall I liked it but I have a lot of questions. Have not seen the Chinese…
1. Did Ha-Eun really travel to all those places in real? If so, when did she do that? I am confused - as I thought she left the wedding, left Jeju to come to Seoul and takes up the old apartment of Mi-so. It is there she starts painting again and realizes she is pregnant. Then she finds Mi-So and soon after delivers the baby and sadly passes away.
So did she travel in the time she left Jeju and was at the old apartment in Seoul? And basically when she was in the last trimester of pregnancy, she finds Mi-so and then we see the scene of her eating with Mi-so's landlady and co-tenant? (Also, is this scene with landlady real - or was did pregnant Ha-Eun and Mi-So spend time before it was time for her to deliver the baby?)
Edit: I got this answer from Reddit. Looks like the travel is all imagination of Mi-So.
2. Why did she not tell Jin-Woo about the baby? Like she could have said that she does not want to marry him, and raise the child on her own. But she could have told him that he was the father. By her own admission, she said he was not a bad man and rather good to her.
Personally I feel sad for Jin-Woo, cause I get it - in a way he fell in love with both of them. But he chose to come back to Ha-Eun. Admit, he did not support her dreams, but then they should have talked about it.
In a way, had he not come across Mi-So in the Art Gallery and later at her work and chanced upon the kid, he would always be in the dark, which is kind of unfair. The kid is a part of him too, who knows maybe she wanted to know him - and he is not like a abusive parent or anything...so why not give him the chance to know his own child. I just found this a little selfish.
3. Did Mi-So and Ha-Eun love each other romantically? Like they did not realise it themselves, or did they only care for each other as friends. Or rather more, but it was not romance, but love and care in a way that has no name?
4. Do Ha-Eun's parents know that their daughter is no more? And do they know of their grandchild?
I just finished watching the film, and overall I liked it but I have a lot of questions. Have not seen the Chinese adaptations, so this is based only the Korean version. I have heard so much of this film, and even the ratings are so high.
But my questions are points that confuse me on what the story wanted to say, and maybe that is why I did not enjoy the ending that much.
Hence, putting it under the spoiler tag in first comment - would really appreciate if anyone can answer/share their thoughts!
Maybe it will make me see the film/story in a different light and understand the decisions better...
I would prefer more romance and less crime in the future.
I hope for another pair like Bong-Bong & Min-Min who are effortlessly adorable and have chemistry. SGNS was no bad on this - she had more chemistry with Ryo Si-Oh (what a fab character!)
Butteflies are zombies in the stomach OMG... never heard that before. You are a writer, aren't you?I like how…
Haha, it just came to me cause that is how sad the main leads' chemistry was. Thank you, not a writer - but I like to write :P and am glad some of the points resonated with you as well. Hopefully better things to come in future!

Cause after SWNS - my hopes have dashed like anything! (Of course, barring Byeok Woo Seok in it, only redeeming factor about this series)
