K just finished it, held back the tears but omg! Seeing Miura Haruma smile and happy proves what a great actor…
I am a big fan of Haruma Miura - when the news broke in 2020, for a while I thought it is a fake news, given it was pandemic and people are going crazy online. Took me a while to accept it.
I just finished rewatching the drama again in Dec 2023 and I am again a puddle of happy and sad tears. Happy that I can still watch him through his work, smiling and handsome in all his glory and talented beyond words. Sad that we cannot have him create more of his magical work. Someone who is gone too soon and now we as an audience are truly at loss for losing someone as amazing as him.
Can only hope he is resting in peace! π
I strongly second your message - please do not bottle up things inside. If anyone reading this is suffering, please take heart. At MDL we might be strangers - but sometimes even kind words from the unknown can help - so please reach out ππΌ
That Hasegawa Shima's character is a real slut. Having sex in a public toilet with a different random guy every…
She did not have sex with him, he has ED - so they get undressed but don't do the deed. Also when she seduced him she did not know he was her friend, Miki's husband.
Their mistake was even after the truth was known - they kept meeting up... And yes, even if it is drama they exaggerated the meetups through the ED angle and tried to make it hilarious, but it was not right.
For Miura Haruma... I am watching this drama again in December 2023 - it is not a flawless drama but so adorable. My heart loves seeing Haruma again, and yet aches at the same time...
Why did he have to go away soon? I wish he could tried to fight all the negatives & someone could have known to help him. Such a talented and beautiful man, who had so much more to offer - just gone away too soon! Seeing his old shows makes me realise what a loss it is for us in losing him.
Knowing more about the hardships he has in his personal life, I can only hope he is resting in peace β€οΈππΌ
For me the entire show was perfect, except the last 2 episodes. It was not as gripping as the earlier ones, maybe cause by then it was all a bit predictable? Fav Things: What a Green Flag Husband and Mother-in-Law looks like in form of Seo Do Guk and Madam Cha Yeon Hwa β€οΈ
But really, did not think I would enjoy this drama as much as I did. Specially since I just chanced upon it after seeing so many edits on SNS!
She definitely has a crush on him, and to me looks borderline creepy/stalker given how she knows things about…
I hope so too! Sibling rivalry though very dramatic, but personally I do not like it as well. It's real - kind of happens in real life too, but that is what makes it more sad, even in dramas :(
Let's hope the best as we wait for another week for the new episodes to come!
I said to the screen "He is a married man", even if it's a contract marriage...lol
Yes, but the cat is not out of the bag! Well not to the entire world (may be it changes in Ep 5) but till now this info is strictly confidential within the family
I can only wait and love the reaction the office female will have once she knows B)

Yes, while the step mom brought the fake wife, the step-brother did something unwarranted. Like it was a little nuts - one can interpret it as him saving his brother and in a way sis-in-law (cause he might have feelings for her after the mall incident) but still it was weird.
Oooh spoiler but yes Sa Wol is totally going to be paired with the secretary, given their cute moment in the hospital ;)
But I am loving these discussions - it means the writers have us hooked on all characters which is a great thing, as it means there's depth to them all. I really hope it gets better and better and the drama finishes on a high note. #fingerscrossed!

Haha! "Notice Me Senpai" gone wrong here for sure!
Oh I like your thought about the step-brother. I felt it too when FL ties her hair ribbon on his cut that he is just putting an act. But then what he did at the party, I thought no he is a nutjob. But then it is too early to judge him - Personally would like the tormented soul angle cause that would mean there might be a redemption arc somewhere.
Plus both the actors have played brothers in Under the Queen's Umbrella. While both had limited screentime, both were great and loving (at least in the little time they had together). So over here it is a contrast so far, but I would totally love if the brothers come together and fight the evil stepmom/mom.
Also it would mean that the step brother will rise in front of the grandfather's eye - or rather grandpa will realise his mistake and that his words were too hard. Like Tae Ha, Tae Min is also a kid - and even though not related by blood - he should have treated him equally (so far does not seem like the case - that weed comment was so backhandedly savage).
4 episodes so far - and each episode truly has an ebb and flow. For me, the first half of each episode is a little slow trying to elaborate the plot and characters, and the latter half of the episode just jets off in neck-break speed with the mystery.
It is a good formula, cause I am definitely hooked to see how the past and present worlds will collide and hopefully the chemistry between the lead pair intensifies (it is good but I hope it gets better).
Can't wait for Ep 5 (inwardly cursing myself why I give in to the temptation of watching on-air dramas and then cry at the wait)
μ΄λ―Έλ΄(Lee Mi Dam)looks like the FL mother. She is the mother of the FL in Modern Times too I am sure of it.
I doubt she can be the mother of the FL in present time. As per me, since FL has time travelled - she should not have any relationships in the modern world. In fact after the scene in Ep 4, where the ML and his secretary have got hold of the information about FL's father, it seems the story would be to have FL as a time traveler only.
This is why she is actually meeting fellow time travelers & reincarnations. Time travelers - like her lady-in-waiting Sa Wol, and the mysterious women Cheon Myeong, and maybe Midam too (her mother). Though I feel latter is also a reincarnation just like the ML, Tae Ha and his aunt, step mom etc.
Okay, so who is this long haired girl at ML's office. I don't like the way she looks at him.
She definitely has a crush on him, and to me looks borderline creepy/stalker given how she knows things about him. Till now no one apart from family knows that Tae Ha has gotten married - so I guess when Ep 5 airs and everyone will know about Park Yeon Woo, we might see this office woman's true color show.
Who knows maybe she will join in evil stepmom or stepbrother in their schemes to attack her rival, Yeon Woo?
My theory is: Just like in 'You who came from the stars', the in-law here (of course that evil witch stepmom of…
Well the stepmom is definitely the culprit for sure. Let's see how they figure it out in the present day. Also Kang Tae Min we do not have his counterpart in the past Joseon time, am excited to see who it would be, if any....
I was confused about this first. Have not researched all titles but I guess cause most of his popular ones were just romance/life/melos etc. Maybe that's why...?
I am coming across this in 2023 - due to a list shared on MDL. It is a theme that I usually shy away and seeing the trailer & summary Two things come to my mind, as a hardcore Shawol:
1. Minho character being bullied is something that will be hard to digest π I mean he is always on fire and such an extrovert in real life.
2. Saw that this drama aired in Aug/Sept 2017, and Jonghyun passed away in Dec 2017. I cannot even begin to imagine (again) what must have gone through Min-ho's mind. To have played a character that tries to prevent a friend from committing suicide, to be actually going through it IRL.
Me watching Byeon Woo Seok in: 20th Century Girl / Strong Girl Namsoon / Soulmate - Me at Start: I can't wait to see how his character shapes up, he is so dreamy/hot π₯β€οΈβπ₯π - Me in the end: ππ #inconsolable
So am anticipating this drama super eagerly, cause even if he is going to be dead from Ep 1, at least the ending will be happy. FINALLY!

In 2013 - FL was 40 years and ML (Haruma) was 23 IRL
