I was going to wait until all episodes are out, as I do with series I'm excited for, but the comment section got me curious. I'm way too old to partake in idiotic ship wars or whatever you call that and OhmNanon was an okay couple but I don't miss it so don't even try to come for me. Maybe the first ep is just objectively not that good and that’s ok, no need to take it personally.

GMMTV really has been dropping the ball in general recently, going back to desultory plots, cheap editing and first take acting. It’s the case even with trendy actors (My Love Mix Up) and famous, talented ones (Dangerous Romance, Kidnap). I hope it’s just a slum…

Given the vibes of the poster I think I can kiss my hopes for a darker series goodbye. I was wondering how Ohm stays looking so fresh but dude is only 24??? I assumed older with all the dramas he’s been in. He and Leng look good af in the trailer, ugh.

The plot was... a choice, but the acting was on goddamn point. I think they had the best kissing scenes I've seen in a Japanese BL, too bad they were always filmed from far away or in the dark. Also, Natsume is the son of the Cherry Magic couple and Toma is the son of the Old Fashion Cupcake change my mind.

I’m still not over how unphased Great was when he discovered his brother does kidnapping and attempted murder on the side. Like no questions asked, just laughing on some bridge. 💀

Of course, not everything has to be dark. But claw machine plushies is like... high contrast haha. Really took me by surprise and, personally, I would have gone with something a bit more lowkey to keep the overall mood.
