sorry what is wrong with polyamorous relationships?
I know, right? It's fine if you don't like that sort of thing, but just don't watch. The entitlement people have is freaking insane. Like I personally don't like this thing so IT SHOULD BE CANCELED. I remember that was how people were reacting to something that had mpreg in it. Like sure, it's kinda weird, but it's not harming anyone. Yet people were so up in arms about it even existing. Like go somewhere else. MOST media is not this particular thing.
Yeah, I was honestly super disappointed when I saw that. I had been really excited, thinking maybe he'd finally…
Yeah, it honestly depends on the crowd. Most people in the My Only 12% comments are people who like him in the baby roles. But sorry you enraged fans who can't stand opinions different from their own! I don't hate it when he's in those parts, I just really wish he was given more range and opportunities. He's a really interesting person, and I hate that they type cast him so aggressively. Fluke looks 12 and he still manages to get more variety in his roles, lol. Earth's manager needs to step it up.
I think it's just a shame seeing his sassy, sultry side on instagram, knowing it'll probably always be the same high school boy roles until he's 85. I had gotten my hopes up for a moment when they were throwing out the cast list, but of course, he's the one person in the entire cast who doesn't get to be a badass.
Yeah. They dropped the MMA element entirely. Maybe they were being too ambitious.
Seriously, and the fact that he pissed off the bookie due to his own arrogance. There was just so much there that made the story interesting, and removing it completely changed the tone I was expecting. They even made Sprite a lot softer than he originally was (the fumbled apologizing and such), which seems like a late addition. I assume the betting/MMA/attempted hit just ended up being too high stakes for them or something, but I'm so disappointed.
Wow, why did they take out the most interesting element of this show? The pilot trailer actually had me excited because Sprite was a much more fascinating, darker character. Also, originally it was 100% his fault that Zee ends up like that. But in this version, it's not really his fault since that guy was just out to get him, so what follows feels less impactful and more random. What a weird choice. Like, "Guys, this is too interesting. How can we make it more generic?"
The guys are attractive, though, so I'll keep watching because I'm basic. It could have been worse as far as a slice-of-life goes, but that wasn't what I was originally sold, so I'm frustrated.
From the trailer, it looks like Earth is going to be playing another infantile role. Dear god, give him some other…
Yeah, I was honestly super disappointed when I saw that. I had been really excited, thinking maybe he'd finally get a chance to flaunt the sexy look he has going online--like get that man into a mob boss's lover role or something. He needs to be in leather. But nope, he's perpetually cast as 14. I wish they'd give him more variety, though I'm just happy to see him at all, I guess.
Wtf, this looks like softcore porn based on the promotional material, then you click on the trailer and it's like this super serious, unsexy drama. XD Who thought this up?
It kind of reminds me of this comic that I can't find at the moment, where a guy sees some weird looking VHS called "Monkey Love" and sneakily rents it, but when he gets home it's just two monkeys having serious conversations about the failings in their relationship, and he's like, "Come on, come on! Get to the good stuff!"
Definitely not this year, sadly. I saw mention of filming starting after they were done with Middleman's Love,…
Yep, that's a common Thai concept, to film a pilot trailer before they start filming the show itself. That's why you'll see a full, detailed trailer for a show that never happens. It isn't that they filmed it all and never released it. What we see in pilot trailers isn't actual footage. This is usually done for sponsors and to see how much buzz they can stir up, though it sure can be frustrating for the fans who have high hopes.
Update on The Whisperer: the trailer came out and it now has a release date of November 26th, 10:45pm. It looks…
Thanks! I tried to stay up and wait for the trailer drop, but I passed out, lol. Thanks for saving me the trouble of looking up the date. I'll check the trailer later. Kind of excited to hear it's more on the extreme side. How unusual for BL!
It's coming out soon. December, apparently. They announced it finally at the WeTV expo.
Awesome, thanks. ^^ Can I ask where you got the confirmation? (I run a list of upcoming stuff and like to know if the dates I'm listing are confirmed or rumors.)
IDK when this will be released, but I am waiting w/ bated breath for it to be released. This is a highly anticipated…
Definitely not this year, sadly. I saw mention of filming starting after they were done with Middleman's Love, so if that's true, they'll probably start filming soon, at least. Hopefully we get it early next year.
Cherry Magic won't be taking over the Saturday slot for Only Friends. It seems that comment Tay made was more ominous than some of us had hoped. They didn't just put a few specials or whatever. They'll be running an entire show on Saturday. It looks like Last Twilight will be taking over for Dangerous Romance, so Cherry Magic's fate is currently unknown. They keep swearing it'll be this year, but the scheduling makes that a bit tricky. I hate how many issues they've been running into with getting all of these shows out.
There will be so many vampire BLs in Thailand within the next year!
Right? We went from, like, none, to a whole bunch! I'm so happy! Assuming they all happen. Kissable Lips being the ONLY vampire BL series was unacceptable. Too short and sad. We need variety. And vampires is one of the easiest supernatural themes to do, so it's crazy that it took this long. I'm glad we get more dark and broody stuff like My Golden Blood, but hopefully this ends up being good too. It could be cute.
But DR ends November 3rd and the CC MDL page says it'll air October 31st
I'm not sure why it says that on your end. It doesn't say that on my end. The page says it's "Nov, 2023" with no specific date. Or maybe it switched over right after you left this comment.
Daradaily listed Kidnap as one of the BL series from the GMMTV 2024 lineup. They also listed that TayNew's Peaceful…
It's weird to me how everyone is ignoring Summer Night, lol. It's not a BL on its own, but it has a prominent BL pairing, so I count it. As far as how GMMTV classifies it, though, I understand it's under drama/romance. That's a good thing, though, because we can expect "around 10 BL" in 2024, so that means there's room for two or three more in part two. Maybe even more if we're really lucky.
