She's under gmmtv now
Yeah, I noticed. I guess we'll see if she's ever in anything I actually want to watch. I'm kind of dreading it for fear that I won't be able to see her in any other way. But I'd like to give her the benefit of the doubt. It really wasn't her fault that character was written so poorly.

All the female actresses deserve a main role this time. I'm tired of some of them having support roles for idk...…
I would love to see more female-centric shows where women aren't just there as love interests. Something where they get to be complicated and badass. They can toss in some obligatory romance because they seem incapable of not doing that, but seeing women leading action and supernatural type roles more would be a lot of fun. Like I would watch an entire show about Film's character Eugene in Not Me, minus the weird Nice Guy BS with Gram. Like just her being an awesome activist and taking down the system.

The trailer for this one doesn't make it look like that's what it's about at all. I'm laughing picturing it, because I'm really interested to see how they're gonna pull off a plot like that when the other concepts seem so simple and fluffy.

I'm so sad... Come onnnn some updates on this
It's coming out soon. December, apparently. They announced it finally at the WeTV expo.

It's like someone asked the directors how many random, established BL actors they wanted in their show, and they said, "Yes."

Anyway, I'm here for it!

I think this might just be a recut of the series as a movie, which will make it even more nonsensical. Sadly,…
Unfortunately there were never any plans for a season two, and since they canceled the special episode, that's it for the show. I was really enjoying it, and I'm so mad that they gave us such a crappy ending where the leads literally don't even talk to each other. It's like they forgot that it was a BL and that the show was about Ken and Din. I'm pretty bitter about it.

I admit, I was initially afraid there was going to be a misunderstanding issue, and I was irked by that because…
Right? Honestly, if they'd just toned it down a bit, and Sailom left to give them space, and they showed Kang looking back, kind of concerned and confused by Sailom leaving but not going after him, I would buy it more that he's just not sure how to process his feelings or what they mean. I would be annoyed that we wasted so much time in this episode, but I'd get the intention. I understood Kang's shift from spoiled bully to kinder person with Sailom. I'm not understanding how he's quickly sliding backwards into barely giving a crap about Sailom in order to suddenly pursue someone he grew up with whom he's only now wanting to date, right this second.

For me, it's honestly the way they did it in general. As much as I hate M/F/M love triangles in BL, I could have tolerated it a bit more if they didn't act like the last four episodes hadn't happened as soon as a girl enters the picture. He was never all that anxious and eager to start something romantic with her in all of the scenes with them casually hanging out. It just feels so forced. Anyway, sorry for ranting. You already get what I mean, lol. Here's hoping the next episode isn't as jarring as the preview made it seem. Crossing my fingers that ep. 6 is much more satisfying.

I expected something new to be released for this series, which I will be eagerly waiting for 🥰🥰🥰
I think this might just be a recut of the series as a movie, which will make it even more nonsensical. Sadly, after that disappointing ending, they canceled the special episode they were going to film.

I get your point but I described mine one comment earlier it might seem as cliche but well then I guess life is…
I saw your comment after posting mine, but I didn't write a response because I just don't agree with you, and I figured there was no need for me to reply when we just interpreted it differently. Whether it's clear in the novel or not, the acting, direction, and editing did not even SLIGHTLY hint that he's confused. If I'd seen an ounce of conflict on his face in this episode, I would potentially buy it, but having him go from making eyes at Sailom to shoving him out of the way and drooling over a girl he never acted like he was interested in just for drama is random and unconvincing.

If in the book, he was struggling to accept his feelings for Sailom while dealing with a longtime crush on his friend, that does fit better with the narrative, but the show didn't accurately or convincingly portray that. It didn't come across as realistic at all. I understand that you feel otherwise, but there's no debating personal opinions. Everyone is allowed to feel how they feel. I wish this had been the positive experience for me that it was for you.

I guess I'm mostly alone here, but this episode was such a huge disappointment for me. I've been loving the show,…
I admit, I was initially afraid there was going to be a misunderstanding issue, and I was irked by that because I HATE misunderstanding tropes. However, now I wish they HAD just gone with a misunderstanding, because now it all makes less sense. And yeah, I get that they were giving hints that Kang was into him, but this episode was full of that clueless "no homo" crap, and he spent most of it wanting to bang some chick, while Sailom was making eyes at the guy who tormented him for the first few episodes, like some simp. I thought by now they were both aware of their feelings, and the fact that Kang clearly isn't really, really irritates me. Why does it always have to go down like this? One guy is swooning, the other guy is convinced he's straight, in love with a girl, especially when it seems to come out of freaking nowhere. He never acted like they were more than good friends, and it's so irritating that they couldn't JUST be friends. But there can never freaking be a guy and girl who are friends, ever, even in a freaking BL.

I initially thought, "Oh no, a dumb misunderstanding." Then Kang was trying to shut Sailom out, and I was like, "No. Are they actually doing this? They're seriously going to freaking do this? After all of the other episodes have been about progress between them." This entire episode felt incredibly incongruous to what we've seen so far. It felt like a more annoying filler episode.

The second Pimfah shows up and is obviously dressed up, I was like, "God damn it, GMMTV! Now Pimfah is into Sailom?" Because she obviously wasn't into Kang, and they needed more brain dead conflict. I predicted everything from there, and it played out almost exactly. They get separated, then something happens with Pimfah. Admittedly I thought something worse was gonna happen with the lizard, so I'm glad that wasn't the case. But obviously that was going to go poorly somehow. Then I figured Pimfah would be more interested in walking with someone else (I assumed the student teacher, but maybe our hopeful f/f isn't happening. Or maybe it's gonna be another straight story leading to sudden gay. It's kinda weird she's her teacher anyway, meh. I don't know how to feel.) I figured Kang would be all bitter about it, would wander off, be a jerk to Sailom, then have a surprise day of bonding, before breaking Sailom's heart somehow due to the Pimfah thing. If you watched, you know that's exactly what happened, with the added "twist" of Kang finding out that, yes, indeed, Pimfah likes Sailom.

If they really wanted to go the angst route, this would have been much better in my mind: Sailom and Kang discuss going together. Sailom can keep being a simp if he must, because at least the feelings between them are mutual--even if neither of them knows it. Pimfah, who is Kang's close friend, asks to join them, and Kang cheerfully agrees because she's his friend, and Sailom is sad, thinking Kang wants her to be there for romantic purposes due to how many people at the school ship him with her. They show up at the event, and Sailom sees Kang being close with Pimfah but tries to hide his jealousy. Pimfah starts hanging out with the student teacher, and eventually it's just Sailom and Kang again. Sailom still has butterflies and all that crap, and they still have a happy time together, but Kang is stealing glances at Sailom too, maybe even feeling conflicted about his feelings due to knowing his father (or much of society) won't accept him liking guys. Sailom still sees Kang giving a lock to Pimfah, thinks Kang is straight and he has no chance, and leaves, feeling heartbroken. Kang goes to Sailom's lock and considers putting his own on his, but chicken's out. He starts to leave, but as he's walking away, he gets some resolve and comes back, only to find Pimfah there in his place, putting her own lock on Sailom's. Thinking Sailom is more likely interested in girls, his own heart breaks as well.

It would have been so easy to do this in a less "don't worry, he's not TOO queer" way. I keep feeling like we're moving away from that crap, but it will just not ease up. It's so irritating when the preview for the next episode shows them kissing. Like Kang spent this entire episode like he resented Sailom's entire existence, minus the few "sweet" moments that felt disingenuous when he was apparently in love with Pimfah this entire time but only tried to go on a sudden date with her after he's already connecting with someone else. I get if he was panicking over his feelings and was trying to use her to feel "normal," (not that that would be okay, but it makes some sense, all things considered), but that is not how it comes across at all. It's like he was staring intently at Sailom for the last four episodes, and then suddenly he's like, "Sailom who? I very clearly have been in love with Pimfah and only Pimfah all along." Like, don't freaking try to gaslight me, Dangerous Romance. What is this?

Anyway, I'm gonna try to just get over this. It's not the end of the world, but I so rarely love a show. The recent times I've truly had a blast watching something, it stabbed me in the back too. This is giving me Chains of Heart vibes, where I was willing to forgive the inconsistencies, plot holes, and weird/nonsensical moments because I was just enjoying the show in all its b-movie action glory. Then that stupid ending. Dear lord. I figure this will have a good ending at least, but the writers have lost my trust. I'm so pessimistic and nervous when I watch new stuff these days, and this is why. I wish I'd just waited and binged it. Waiting over a week to watch this episode and have it fall so flat just really let me down.

I guess I'm mostly alone here, but this episode was such a huge disappointment for me. I've been loving the show, and I thought it might be my fifth perfect 10 rating ever, even with the weird moments here and there. There was so much for me to like about this. They didn't need to reinvent the wheel to make the show interesting and engaging. I liked that they leaned into certain tropes but avoided others--or so I thought.

I don't know why I'm taking this so personally. I just had something to look forward to while the flip side is Only Friends, which I do enjoy but is breaking my heart (which I went in knowing would happen, but it still hurts). We waited to watch this on Saturday as a palate cleanser, and it ended up being this weird, pointless episode where we're playing up the "straight boy" trope, which I've always hated. Especially in a love triangle sense. Why can no one ever just be friends? Seeing stuff like this just soured my entire experience, and it makes me not even want them to get together. If you're so desperately in love with someone else to the point of wanting to shove your actual love interest in the show aside, you shouldn't be together. I couldn't enjoy all of the cutesy randomness, because it felt forced and just really rubbed it in that they just HAD to have this stupid, pointless conflict. Why? Based on the next episode preview, literally zero of what happens in this episode effects anything in the story. There were ways to go about this without making one character seem like he's developing feelings for another, have him fawn over someone else entirely, and then immediately change his mind in the next stupid episode.

I don't know, maybe I'm just in a bad mood, or maybe I was just enjoying the show so much that to have this tired, annoying trope come in now, when every other episode has moved the plot along, just felt like a betrayal. Yeah, it's dramatic, I don't care. Life is so crappy and stressful these days, and I just wanted to enjoy a show that finally seemed more fitting of the kind of slice-of-life story I'd actually like. But in the end, it's just like every other damn high school romance. I thought this would just be a transition episode, showing them getting closer, and to have it instead be cliche, manufactured angst with no payoff was so disappointing. They could have easily made the things that happened in this episode happen in a less annoying way. Spoilers below on where I thought it was going, how I think it could have been better, and how this is so damn cliche that I IMMEDIATELY guessed the entire plot of the episode the second the three of them were chatting.

I just saw Luke in a colab with Perth on Perth's youtube channel, and Luke said it's coming out soon and the post-production has been extensive due to how much CGI is in the movie. He said "end of the year," but they've taken their time to make sure it looks good, so there's not an exact date yet.

Agreed! It's so funny to me how Neo has always played more sanitized roles, but then out of nowhere they just throw him head first into this graphic character where he bangs every dude he sees. XD But he really is doing a good job. I just hate him a little because he plays a jerk so well, haha.

Haha, seriously. I was just saying to my best friend that it's a good thing Neo is already loved and known by the fandom, or this could be the kind of role that makes it hard for people to watch him in anything else. He's doing a great job, and I'm sure he had a blast filming this, but man, do I hate Boston sometimes, lol.

It's a troll. It left this exact comment like two months ago but everyone ignored it, so it's trying for attention a second time. I don't think anyone knows for sure if any of the characters die. I did see someone guessing something very odd early on, which may have been the source of a little bit of chatter as to the possibility.

What? Noooooooo! That throws everything off. It made sense for Cooking Crush to replace Hidden Agenda and Last Twilight to replace Dangerous Romance. I feel like that isn't ready to take the spot, so we'll likely lose a BL slot instead. And here I was, all excited because three would be airing at once.
