There will be so many vampire BLs in Thailand within the next year!
Right? We went from, like, none, to a whole bunch! I'm so happy! Assuming they all happen. Kissable Lips being the ONLY vampire BL series was unacceptable. Too short and sad. We need variety. And vampires is one of the easiest supernatural themes to do, so it's crazy that it took this long. I'm glad we get more dark and broody stuff like My Golden Blood, but hopefully this ends up being good too. It could be cute.
But DR ends November 3rd and the CC MDL page says it'll air October 31st
I'm not sure why it says that on your end. It doesn't say that on my end. The page says it's "Nov, 2023" with no specific date. Or maybe it switched over right after you left this comment.
Daradaily listed Kidnap as one of the BL series from the GMMTV 2024 lineup. They also listed that TayNew's Peaceful…
It's weird to me how everyone is ignoring Summer Night, lol. It's not a BL on its own, but it has a prominent BL pairing, so I count it. As far as how GMMTV classifies it, though, I understand it's under drama/romance. That's a good thing, though, because we can expect "around 10 BL" in 2024, so that means there's room for two or three more in part two. Maybe even more if we're really lucky.
He wasn’t in the trailer but he sure is in it, we just don’t know his role yet
Oh, you're right! Lol, I didn't even notice. But I wasn't looking too closely. Yeah, people were definitely jumping to conclusions with that one. I'm glad it's confirmed to be a BL. :) Haha, it's honestly not all that much of an exaggeration, especially Papang. XD But Title really has just been popping up everywhere lately. Not that I'm complaining! He's cute.

I guess I was too excited to notice him on stage with everyone, lol. Or I assume that's how people know. But I'm looking forward to learning more about this one!
GMMTV said so in a press conference. Look through the comments for the link. People have been freaking out about it, lol. (Mostly in a good way.) It's on their site.
where did you get confirmation it's bl ? not sure if ohm partner is from gmmtv (it might be Collab with another…
It is confirmed, and yes, the director has some recent BL experience. Not a full series, but a BL pairing in Midnight Museum. Plus that show was gay as hell. It's a bit unusual, but he was excited to give it a try before. I guess he just wanted more of a chance to take on a less typical BL. It's weird to me, though, that people can see that trailer and think, "Nothing about this seems even slightly romantic." Like, what?
Didn't Ohm say he won't be doing BLs anymore?I seriously believed OhmNanon will be the last ship with either of…
NO. I wish people would stop doing this. I know people have these stories in their minds and want to believe actors are only doing certain shows because they love their scene partner or whatever, but that stuff is not real. They're actors. Ohm has always been a BL actor, and he had no reason to say he just wasn't doing them anymore. I have never once had anyone offer any source on them actually saying anything about never doing BL again. I feel like someone says it in the comments, and people just run with it. It's the same with a bunch of other BL actors who "are never doing BL again" who are currently still doing BL. I'm not trying to come down on you here, but the spread of misinformation due to people seeing rumors in comments is very frustrating. I honestly fear that the reason Nanon pulled away from BL is because he hadn't anticipated how awful the fandom could be. It breaks my heart. He was having so much fun in the beginning, but then it started taking a toll on him as people scrutinized every little thing between himself and Ohm. I'm not surprised he's taking a break from acting.
And I'm not trying to be mean to you, so I'm sorry if it sounds like all of this is somehow your fault. You might be a reasonable person who just heard the rumors and assumed they were true. But generally speaking, actors take roles based on what interests them or looks good at the time. There isn't usually a big, dramatic declaration that they'll never do BL again unless it's with one specific person. That's typically the fans fantasy.
People are heavily debating this one, haha. It looks like a BL, but no one is able to get confirmation one way or another. It could definitely also be a close friendship (though I don't know how many friends look at each other like that), so hopefully we'll learn more soon.
Yeah, I was watching it live with my best friend, and when the title came on at the end, I was like, Oh hey! I guess Studio Wabisabi dropped it. But yay for projects getting picked up again. Also, holy hell, we're eating good this next year. So many good shows.
I hope this still comes out in November, but I'm worried since we haven't had any recent updates. Fingers crossed. EDIT: Crap, it was October that it was supposed to come out. That feels unlikely at this point. :(
EDIT 2: Looks like the release date will be announced in a press conference at the end of October.
