NGL I love me a toxic romance once in a while, and this one is awesome! Peem is a fucking mess and Parn is a fool to love her. The actors are doing such a great job with it and their chemistry is off the charts. One of my fave GLs in a while because it GOES there where others pull back from being too edgy and go soft too soon.

Anyway I just came looking for advice on where to watch. I have VPN but can’t find a region that lets me view on IQIYI or Viki. I was watching on the OneD app but the last couple eps are paid subscribers only and I can’t subscribe from the U. S.

That's a great list! The only others I can think of are recent: Interminable (pretty good) and Love Upon a Time (excellent). Also the first segment of Every You, Every Me (which is kind of an anthology series) is like a mashup of La Pluie and Color Rush; it's just a couple episodes long, but it's pretty fun because I loved both of those series.

Gawd I am so paranoid--I'm staring at their hands and thinking they move really weirdly and splay oddly and there's either some kind of fisheye lens effect or they keep changing aspect ratio with their bodies... I think I've officially gone over the edge. Thank you for sharing though! I want them to be real. I just don't want actors to be replaced.

There's no cast listed on this page. Gaga lists the 4 leads as "Finn, Henry, Silin and Leon." IMDB says they are Liu Hanlin, Yang Hanzhi, Liu Shuolin and Fang Yusong. I searched those names and found brief bios of them with very stylized photos on a site called Drama BL.

I'm not a fan of AI imagery but I can deal with it if there are other elements that feel a bit more real-life. However, I want to support real actors, so unless I see anything that convinces me they're real people, I think I'll be skipping this one.

This show is so tame compared to 2016, damn! It's not like the original showed much but both couples literally started as one night stands. I'm not even sure how many times either one has kissed at this point.

lol! There are already a few verse (some explicit and some implied) couples in BL, but there should be way more so I'm always rooting for it!

Yeah the flow was off. I couldn't really put my finger on it. I'm fine with all levels of "heat"--one of my favorite BLs has no kisses--but this one lost its rhythm partway through.

Same. It didn't piss me off or anything, but it just kind of quietly fizzled. I'll still watch the special ep though :-)

I was intrigued by your comment and gave it a shot--binged it in one night and loved it! What a great show all around, funny and sexy and actually romantic by the end. The actors killed it too, especially Kaji. If he hadn't played it so funny, his jerk era would've been insufferable but the way he acted made it enjoyable.
