This show is a bit too violent for me, so it's always at the bottom of my list every week, but the cast in amazing. I've always had a huge crush on Top (Gawin) so I'm always happy to see him on screen even if its just for a split second. I am also really impressed by Tape (Sun). I wasn't sure what I thought of him at first, but he's actually pretty good. Both the Korean boys did a good job but I'm particularly impressed by Seung Ho (Jun Ho). This is the second time I've seen Aon in a negative role in the span of a couple of weeks. He plays evil really well. And really creeps me the eff out.
TBH. I'm really impressed by the whole cast of young adults. They far outshine the veterans (except for Phe - I really enjoyed him in this show)
I love that the romance is more on the backburner and as an undertone to the violent themes of the show. What romance there is, is very romeo + juliet esque.
I really dragged my feet on watching this one. And sure, it isn't perfect. But I genuinely loved it. It feels like it is set in the past, but it could be any time period really. But what makes me think it is a historical piece is because nobody is using phones.
I loved some of the charcters a lot - Gimm and Bua in particular. I think this may have been a low-budget production, but it fit a lot of themes into a very small show. I wish it was longer and that there would be a happy ending.
When I was watching Fight For You, there were so many times I felt like he could pass for a young Jackie Chan, or play Jackie Chan's son. Ironic though since Jackie Chan is pretty anti-LGBT and "traditional" in his view of gender roles (Michelle Yeoh once called him a MCP on tv).
The dubbing for Mr. Jo is so offputting! Why not use the actor's own voice or cast someone who has the accent they want? The dubbing is just so weird and looks so wrong. Other than that, episode 1 was pretty good.

And me as a psychologist thinks he has the right traits to consider OCD given the very limited information we have. Would it only be a discussion if we come to a consensus? Would it only be a discussion if I agree with you? You are obsessively against the idea of Phu having OCD, this can go both ways. But that still doesn't make either of us OCD.

Actually one behaviour/action is enough to be classified as OCD if it fits the criteria. And its not just the colors with Phu. There was something about the ghost doll and there was also a throwaway comment about how he "did everything right [that day] so nothing bad should happen". And if its just a superstition you will not upend your entire room looking for a specific item because you HAVE to wear it at that moment. People with OCD can often times function somewhat normally on a day-to-day basis but their obsession with [some action/belief] compels them to do certain tasks/actions. Not everyone with OCD has to wash their hands compulsively, or check the locks and windows every time they enter the house or go to bed, or arrange all their clothes a certain way - the actions can vary and be completely different from what we traditionally see in media and film.
OCD is like a wave - there are times it can be so bad that people absolutely cannot function outside of their obsessions and compulsions, and there are times when the person seems like any other person because their obsessions and compulsions aren't as bad.
ETA. And we do see his obsession affecting his life because it is more important for him to wear the right underwear than go to class because something bad might happen. Also, I am neither for or against euthanasia. I like how you've cherry picked one thing from my whole long ass post - medical access is not universal. ~9% of the global population lived in poverty. Pallative care is not covered by most governments or insurances. People who are terminal often struggle to get insurance anyways. Also yes the number of doctors makes a difference. Burnout is real, which means that people who refuse care are in more pain and suffering, while the ones who do get care might not get the attention they need. That is not to say that endorses euthanasia, but a fact to show that people at the end of their lives who would want to be euthanized might really be struggling. I may not be terminal. I may not be so gravely ill that I am in pain. But I know the guilt of needing support when it is a challenge for the person supporting you but you don't have any other option. I know depression and su*cide ideation. The human mind is incredible and it can handle alot. I cannot imagine what it feels like when all you're doing is waiting for death to come. How hopeless that must feel. I cannot imagine how that must feel like when you're also in so much pain and suffering while waiting for death that every day fells like death. Euthanasia is not black and white - and it is never upto any doctor or relative or some random person on the internet to tell people to chose euthanasia or not - even if it were legal.

TBH, if the main character is the one who is euthanising patients, there is going to be an innate perception bias that makes us assume that it is being promoted. But then again, the other character is anti-euthanasia and believes his mother was murdered - which is where the balance part comes in. But then again his ideologies are definitely getting questioned throughout the show.
I think that unless we are suffering from a terminal illness or are the caretaker (not just family in general, but family who is actually taking care of them and their symptoms) of someone with terminal illness, we cannot know the pain and suffering they go through - only they do.
It is definitely a morally grey area and I think that is why it is important to discuss it because for the law there is no "gray" area. And tbh most of the people making the laws have a certain level of priviledge (even if is something they have worked their butts off to get). The problem is that humans by nature require "purpose" and when they don't have that and there is no "hope" it is natural to want to exit the situation rather than be a burden waiting for the end to come to you. I saw my grandmother suffer for over 20 years with so many illnesses where the treatments of one would aggravate the other. She couldn't do anything, she couldn't eat anything, she was always in so much pain. She needed help in the bathroom too. It was so painful to watch her suffering every single day. She finally passed away after getting sepsis. I am sure that she held on as long as she did only because of my grandfather and not wanting to leave him alone. And people can argue that medication can manage symptoms but this is such a priviledged idea because sometimes those medications can cost so much that the patient can't afford them or they have other side effects that make other things worse. Everything at the end of the day gets processed by the liver and that can get damaged beyond repair. So many people live in areas where medication and healthcare is a challenge to get. Like Kan says there is a shortage of doctors. According to WHO data, Thailand has 5.4 doctors per 10,000 people. That means 1 doctor for ~2000 people, which means there is far more demand for and there is a supply of healthcare. Let's look at it differently - if we were to triage people, people who are terminal will always be last or second-to-last in terms of priority because there is nothing that will change their prognosis at the end of the day - so they really are the forgotten ones.... until it comes to the topic of euthanasia.
Anyways, I don't think the point of the show was to be pro or anti euthanasia, but rather a platform through with the debate can have further reach. Where people can learn in a way that isn't preachy, but also inform people about what the laws are and how euthanasia can lean towards more darkness rather than light. But even then it will always be morally grey.
