There are only 9 of 12 episodes released, so I can't give a complete reaction without knowing the ending. However,…
Sure there are different types of love. But manipulating situations so that someone who doesn't want to be with you, is forced to be with you is not love. It does not come from a place of love either because you are not being empathetic to how the person who has been forced into that situation feels - you're only thinking of yourself.

Do you think someone who is forced to be with you will be truly happy?
Do you think you will be happy if they are unhappy?
If you're erasing someone else's entire existence so that the person you want stays with you, isn't that kinda like murder?
Yes you can love someone, but they have the right to make their own decisions and feel what they feel. If its not the same as you, or if their feelings have changed they are entitled to do whatever they want to.

In your opinion, what kind of love do you think this is?

Preach! It is condescending AF.I hate this show and watch it on fast forward because the execution of what sounds…
I didn't say its about love. But the motivations of the character for doing What he's doing is, in bare essence, based on the fact that his ex broke up with him and found a new partner. I understand what you're saying about it being about making the best of what you've got. However, that is not what is being portrayed. Exactly! they didn't say what would happen if he chose not to erase anyone. In fact they show him being gleeful at first about having to erase people.

I understand that Sunshine is a product of his circumstances. He is pretty powerless in the grand scheme of things. He can only do what he can to give himself the best life possible in a system that is rigged against him. That being said, none of this was about giving him the best life. It was about getting Rain back. The premise is great, but the execution makes it shallow/hollow. For example, if this was a power given to Jean Valjean (Les Miserables) or Dantes (Count of Monte Cristo) .... it would hit a lot different.

IDK about you, but if someone told me I could erase someone out of existence, no matter how horrible the things they did, would I do it? I don't know. I'd like to think not. It's like the whole philosophical debate - if you could go back in time and kill baby hilter, would you? Knowing what he went on to do would you kill him? I do not know what I would do if I was faced with the kind of power Sunshine has. But I do not think I would be able to erase anyone. Because even with the power what gives me the right to do so? If forced to, I'd erase myself because that is the only outcome that makes sense. I can only control myself, my action and my reactions. In the famous words of Uncle Ben, "With great power comes great responsibility."

When it comes to more philosophical content, if the idea is to make people think, you need to make it more palatable for people. If it is too complicated you will lose so much of what you are trying to convey.

Not a fan. I am watching to know what the damn conclusion of the show will be. And how delulu MC continues to be.

Preach! It is condescending AF.

I hate this show and watch it on fast forward because the execution of what sounds like a pretty kickass premise is soooo bad. Do I need romance in my shows. No. Do I like when it is there, absolutely! Do I still dislike this show - 1000000000%.

I wrote this as a comment in the post above, but this show is antithetical to what I think love should be - and the MC is not learning. The only time the MC really showed any remorse was when his ex took a drastic action because of whom he blipped out of existence. That's sooooooo DEEP for having been more than half way through the show! (P.S. that was sarcasm). Obsession should not be in a show which is supposed to make you think. I think this would be a much better plot if it was maybe about a loved one dying and them being told that maybe removing some people could save them and learning about loss and dealing with that loss would be so much stronger. But blipping people out of existence because you think they are obstacles to you and your ex being together.... that is a very shallow premise based on obsession and not love.

This show had the potential to be great if the writing and execution was 1000 times better.

ETA: Additionally, the consequences of his actions are not permanent. In the episode where he blips the guy who challenges the status quo, the world becomes a rigid, unimaginative place that crushes creativity and uniqueness - but in the next episode when he blips someone else, the world goes back to normal. That makes no sense. How will someone learn if the consequences are temporary? So that momentary "WTF have I done" now has no place in his life because he still shows resentment towards people who he thinks have influenced his ex and caused the breakup.

@Mitzi Miao - I totally agree with you. I also get why you were offended. I too do not like the show. I too think it is pretentious and tries too hard to make you think but the execution is so poor and it just makes me hate MC. The "romance" is so weird. The MC's obsession is weird. None of it makes any sense. It does not evoke any feelings within me other than to watch it on fast forward just so that I can get through it. Maybe because the whole premise of the show is so convoluted and different to my principles when it comes to love. Because for me if you truly love someone, you want them to be happy even if it isn't with you. But MC is going around blipping people out of existence because he thinks they are obstacles keeping the person they love away from them. That is obsession not love. We are at episode 8 and even now everytime MC wakes up he's looking for the person he loves. It is creepy and awful. And the only time he is truly remorseful/repentant is because the person he blipped was essential to the survival of his ex. Ewww. There is no learning. There are RARE moments where the show is really good - like the version of the world when someone who challenged the status quo was blipped - although even with this I disagree because there will always be someone else who rises up and challenges the status quo. But even that was reset with the next blip and things went back to normal. So what lesson was there to learn? This show had a really good premise, but the execution was really bad. There could have been so many better lessons to impart because TBH I don't see what this show has to offer other than a very superficial implication that it makes you think deeply about things.

I was also offended by that person said. Because while it was their *opinion*, it was also casting judgement on anyone who disagreed with them, which is not what healthy discussions should be. It just leads to heightened emotions. Just because it is someone's opinion does not mean it isn't a judgment or that it isn't disrespectful. It comes across as condescending AF when you say something like that. And for OP to then call you disrespectful for being upset by that judgement just because it was someone's "opinion" and then block you!... I can't imagine how you must feel *hugs*.

It might just be me, but while watching this I felt Ren & Rowon could be twins/brothers and Park Sang Nam and…
I get that Yoon Ho died thinking his love was unrequited. But Jae Woon had to live on with the pain of having hurt the one he loved and not letting Yoon Ho know that he was loved while he was alive. That's a lot of guilt to carry.

I feel bad for both the boys.

I'll be honest, I love it.

Sea is an incredible actor. I loved him in Vice Versa (VV) even though the writing was meh. I am forever blown away by how natural he is. He is sooooo much better than so many of the veteran actors and he's only done 2 full series as a main lead.

Jimmy was good in Bad Buddy and then so mediocre in VV. But has gotten a lot better as well.

The cast of Last Twilight (LT) is incredible. Everyone has done an incredible job.

I'm not saying that I think POM is about incest. I am just saying I can understand why people feel that way because there is a lot of jealousy from Korn when it comes to Kun & Thod. So I understand why people think it is incesty. But to me it was more about the feeling of being left behind or betrayed by someone you think is the closest person in the world to you. It is one of the many irrational things we feel as humans.

1626 is more a story about Ephebophilia than Pedophilia. TBH if it was a story about a 26YO and a 36 YO it would not be looked at strangely. If this story was told in the 1700-1800s it would not be odd because people were often married as soon as they hit puberty, but in the last two centuries, we have learned a lot about human development and now know that a 16 year old is not old enough or mature enough to make certain decisions even if they come across as very mature. I think that is where a lot of the "problematic" nature comes from. Because of their immaturity it is easy to manipulate and take advantage of a 16YO. Psychologically speaking, at that age, people are more likely to act impulsively than rationally. Just because of how the brain and body are developing and the hormones and etc. that are coursing through a teenager.

He was amazing in Gangster Oppa. Seems a lot more experienced than most of the more experienced cast. There is a genuineness in the way he portrays his character. Loved him.

Also, Thod didn't approach Kun. A teacher assigned Kun to be Thod's guide and they kinda become friends.

tbh I don't know if Thod was pursuing Kun at all.

Even in the video Pond shows him, it seems like Kun is initiating the kiss. Kun chooses to stay back because Thod can't go. Kun seems to be in unrequited feels for Thod.

In terms of Korn/Kun, they have been inseparable since birth. I guess the incesty POV is there because they have always been close. Even with friends it is not unusual to get jealous when your friend starts become close with someone new. So I kinda get it and I also get how it can come across as incesty. Korn and Kun have gone through everything together, always. So when Kun decides he doesn't want to go, or when they get their fortunes read and it seems like they won't always be together, I can see how Korn feels some sort of sense of betrayal, even though Kun is allowed to not want to do things Korn wants to. TBH it seems a little odd to place this in a BL series when it is about brothers. But if we're talking in terms of a relationship, it is a great way to explore how people's lives can diverge even when they've always walked the same path - and how that can affect relationships. In Pisces of Me, we view everything from Korn's perspective of feeling left behind almost. We don't get Kun's perspective, so I guess I understand why you feel like it wasn't well developed, and I think that was the point - because for Korn as well, it kinda feels sudden and while we see Kun and Thod get closer, we don't know how close they really are. If that makes sense? I think in that regard, since you are feeling this conflict/confusion, they story was well told. At least, that's how I see it.

wat do u mean last 2 shows?
I actually quite liked Gangster Oppa, but Ai Long Nhai had a really bad script. MeenPing are pretty cute together otherwise. Ping isn't the strongest actor, but the cuteness and innocence he brings out in his characters is very charming. Meen isn't necessarily bad at acting, but his characters seem like they are a lot older than him, and that causes a kind of disconnect that is hard to reconcile. As an actor though, I think he does a pretty good job.
