None of those crimes that you mentioned are victimless. Its just the victims are not known. Pedos who watch and…
Not all crimes are equal. Not all crimes require the same punishment. A judge can sentence based on circumstances and the evidence presented. I am in no way defending what this person did, I don't know him and I couldn't care less. Yes - getting drugs under someone else is 100% suspect.
Also, I still don't know why you are so hung up on CP. CP users cannot be rehabilitated - drug users can. Consuming CP is not an addiction. Sure there is some research that shows that there may be biological factors that contribute to pedophilia, but regardless it is not an addiction and it is not rehabilitateable.
None of those crimes that you mentioned are victimless. Its just the victims are not known. Pedos who watch and…
You are making assumptions. Nobody knows if he contacted the other doctors independently or through referrals. Most doctors have quotas on how much they are allowed to prescribe - and many times if its a controlled substance, it is monitored very closely. So it is also possible that the doctor referred him to another doctor that could prescribe him the drug and received a cut. We don't know. To vilify someone based on an assumption is mind-blowing.
Also look into how illegal drug markets are created - new drugs don't become popular because someone goes looking for it. It is introduced into the a population by dealers. Once addicted, the addicts chase that high. Anti-drug education has existed for years - most people know what drugs can do, and yet, most people think they can't get addicted, or believe once is not enough to get addicted. Or a certain frequency is not enough to get addicted. Most people don't know anything about the physiological and psychological effects of the drugs they use. They don't know what dosages and frequencies can get them addicted. But depending on the people you surround yourself with it can become very easy to try again and again. Many addicts believe they can quit anytime.
CP is different - people go looking for it - no distributer is out there going "have you seen this CP? share it with your friends".
CP and Drugs are NOT equal. Consumers of it are not equal. And yet you're hell bound on equating them.
ppl saying YAI needs rehab instead of prison, i hope u say the same for rapists, murderers, domestic abusers,…
None of those crimes that you mentioned are victimless. Its just the victims are not known.
Pedos who watch and distribute CP create a market for it so Children are abducted and exploited. Tax evaders don't pay taxes which can help create better social/welfare programs which affects all the citizens of that country whether or not they use the programs. Taxes help run countries, if anyone thinks the govt is just greedy they're a moron - the govt. builds roads and infrastructure, creates programs that benefit citizens, grants and etc for SMEs and etc.
Most crimes have victims. In the case of YAI - he is kind of the victim because dealers want people hooked on their stuff so that they can make money off them, but at the same time, insomnia and depression have a lot of treatments - so it was his choice to take controlled drugs in an uncontrolled way which is what makes what he did illegal. To excuse his behavior just because he has insomnia and depression is not right when those are the laws of the country - because there are so many treatments for both. But I do think that drug users tend to be victims and need rehab rather than prison.
Right? We have the term "cut sleeve" from one of their emperors.... lulz
If you read about chinese history, when Jesuit priests would call homosexuality unnatural chinese folk would make fun of them... more definitive anti-LGBT legistlature is only about 500 years old. Pretty sure that makes anti-gay the more "foreign ideology"... :smh:
That being said confucian philosophy has been anti-LGBT always.
It is funny how China is so anti-LGBT and considers it "foreign ideology" given the extensive gay history and literature that exists. I guess that's all getting burned so that china is considered "100% straight".
I quite enjoyed this. 2/3 of the leads were new and the 1 who played the main lead has only ever played minor characters. Given that information the acting was surprisingly good. The story was a little weird and strange and we don't really know much about why Yoon Chan decides to befriend Kim Min Jae when he doesn't have any friends. I also didn't really understand why they introduced Jung Woo Hyuk when they didn't really utilize him. Also someone else mentioned this but the lack of students at a university was disconcerting.
Also, what is up with that Taekwondo Sunbae's obsession with Chan's relationship with Min Jae? Again. Why? Was he also meant to be a part of a love triangle with them?
I feel like there was a time skip halfway through ep 6 and we got no context. Also that cliffhanger at the end was just... why? I'm assuming the person they meet is Woo Hyuk, but again... why?
LOL. Dohan is the one being dragged around, lied to so that he comes home, lied to so he meets CEO Yoon and has his engagement announced - both by his grandpa. Manipulated so that he gets announced as the heir apparent even though that's the last thing he wants - by his brother. Manipulated to hide his sexuality - by grandpa. The only person whom his sexuality affects is his future wife. Jihan is messing with a life that is not his so that he gets what he wants, but Dohan is selfish because he isn't ready to come out? Nobody should be guilted or forced to come out for someone else's benefit/convenience/appeasement. And nobody should be forced into situations against their will. It does not make them selfish to not come out. If he would have married Chaewon it would be selfish because she doesn't know his truth and he would be deceiving her. Ah jung already knows everything there is to know about him and has been his beard in the past. And is his best friend. He wouldn't be lying to her. Additionally he's not omniscient. He doesn't know she's in love with his brother and he repeatedly asks her if she's ok with things as they are, and she always says she is. Also she's been telling him that jihan hates her and that's what dohan sees as well, he has no reason to suspect otherwise.
I don't think Ah Jung is selfish at all. She is the only one who can truly be considered as being dragged along by both dohan and jihan after the 1st episode. As for the contract - Do han did not take advantage of her at all. He left the choice to her - she went back and forth multiple times before she signed the contract. He never pressured her or guilted her into it. The only time we see him get angry is when she backs down from grandpa. In my culture there are so many gay men who end up being forced to marry a woman because of their families. The women who are blindsided are the ones who are hurt the most, because they have children and by the time it comes to light their lives are kind of forsaken. Cursed by the man's family and their own families, and often don't have the opportunity of remarry. So the fact that he is chosing not to marry CEO Yoon who doesn't know his truth, and is willing to contract someone who does know says a lot. It is not a woe is me thing. It is not a power play. Even when they are finalizing the registration and parent's meet, Dohan repeatedly asks ah jung if she's really ok with it.
This is the part that bugs me. Jihan wanted to force Dohan to marry Chaewon even though he knew Dohan didn't like her romantically, but when the situation is reverse and Chaewon wants to marry Jihan who is in love with Ah jung, suddenly he's not so ok with being matched with her even though it would help him reach his goal. Why are all of these people so intent on controling everyone around them when they rebel if they are boxed in similar ways?
This is the part I really don't get and maybe I've just lost the plot. The evil step siblings and the MLs are half siblings because of their mother. The mother had the MLs out of wedlock which is what makes them illegitimate, but they are actually blood related. The mother is the daughter of the Grandpa so they are still actually related by blood. For some reason they blame the MLs for the mom's death. I think the evil step sister is not a blood relative. That's why grandma is hellbent on not
LOL you seem to think that coming out is easy for everyone. Nobody is entitled to know what the brother's preferences are in the bedroom. The only person entitled to that information should/would be the spouse. This is why he avoided marriage and refused to marry the 2FL. He asked the FL to be his wife because he wouldn't have to lie to her.
Nobody wants to lose the people they care about most. And coming out is one of those things that can lead to your whole life being uprooted. Especially in a culture that is incredibly homophobic. The brother is not selfish - he doesn't want to betray someone's trust by marrying someone for the wrong reason. He doesn't want to lose his family for obvious reasons.
ML was selfish because he was manipulating his brother so that he can get what he wants without caring about what his brother wants. He is blinded by his misplaced guilt that makes him think that power is the only way he can make it up to his brother regardless of how much his brother just wants to be left alone. He constantly does things to manipulate the FL because he can't be honest about how he feels and thinks he knows and is better than everyone.
I actually like this FL. She has grit. She doesn't give 2 flying f**ks about what people think of her. She has had to deal with a lot of rejection in her life and it hasn't made her a pessimist. She is willing to fight for the things she cares about. I don't think she's being selfish at all. She's putting her own future on the line to protect someone she cares about because she knows how much he's hurting. If you mean that she's selfish because she's getting money for it, that doesn't make her selfish. Her friend hired her for the role. She is just making sure she gets hurt as little as possible in the aftermath. If she was truly selfish, she wouldn't have handed the brother a wad of cash to get a meal and etc when he comes back from NYC. She knows what her friendship is, and she knows that marrying him is muddying things so she needs to have a contract and keep work and friendship separate. That does not make her selfish.
What are these subtitles. I have no idea what is being said because all the pronouns are messed up! Like I can sort of understand by context clues, but some of the sentences make no sense! I think whoever did the subtitles just ran it through three different language translators because this is not understandable at all!
I just started watching A Secretly Love. I adore Kim, but I wish he'd stop going up for roles of a college/HS student. He's 33 YO and while he still looks young and can definitely pass for a young person, there's something about him that doesn't fit the role anymore.
It feels so weird to watch a BL where Kim is partnered with someone other than Copter! Although to be honest my favorite Kim BL is Part Time where he's paired with Ngern - a show I still to this day wish had a second season!
