So, basically, it's just a drama that promotes euthanasia. Didn't know the death culture had reached Thailand…
Tell me you're anti-euthanasia without telling me you are anti-euthanasia.

Did you know that, globally, only about 14% of people who need palliative care get it? And ~50% of the people who need it are in the last year of their life? It is not death-culture. it is real life. Death is also a part of life.

They didn't promote Euthanasia, they more of did a commentary on it showing different povs on the topic. Also…
TBH, if the main character is the one who is euthanising patients, there is going to be an innate perception bias that makes us assume that it is being promoted. But then again, the other character is anti-euthanasia and believes his mother was murdered - which is where the balance part comes in. But then again his ideologies are definitely getting questioned throughout the show.

I think that unless we are suffering from a terminal illness or are the caretaker (not just family in general, but family who is actually taking care of them and their symptoms) of someone with terminal illness, we cannot know the pain and suffering they go through - only they do.

It is definitely a morally grey area and I think that is why it is important to discuss it because for the law there is no "gray" area. And tbh most of the people making the laws have a certain level of priviledge (even if is something they have worked their butts off to get). The problem is that humans by nature require "purpose" and when they don't have that and there is no "hope" it is natural to want to exit the situation rather than be a burden waiting for the end to come to you. I saw my grandmother suffer for over 20 years with so many illnesses where the treatments of one would aggravate the other. She couldn't do anything, she couldn't eat anything, she was always in so much pain. She needed help in the bathroom too. It was so painful to watch her suffering every single day. She finally passed away after getting sepsis. I am sure that she held on as long as she did only because of my grandfather and not wanting to leave him alone. And people can argue that medication can manage symptoms but this is such a priviledged idea because sometimes those medications can cost so much that the patient can't afford them or they have other side effects that make other things worse. Everything at the end of the day gets processed by the liver and that can get damaged beyond repair. So many people live in areas where medication and healthcare is a challenge to get. Like Kan says there is a shortage of doctors. According to WHO data, Thailand has 5.4 doctors per 10,000 people. That means 1 doctor for ~2000 people, which means there is far more demand for and there is a supply of healthcare. Let's look at it differently - if we were to triage people, people who are terminal will always be last or second-to-last in terms of priority because there is nothing that will change their prognosis at the end of the day - so they really are the forgotten ones.... until it comes to the topic of euthanasia.

Anyways, I don't think the point of the show was to be pro or anti euthanasia, but rather a platform through with the debate can have further reach. Where people can learn in a way that isn't preachy, but also inform people about what the laws are and how euthanasia can lean towards more darkness rather than light. But even then it will always be morally grey.

Phu has OCD?
And some people like to trivialize something that is not a joke.

If someone is superstitious to the point that they are panicked when they don't perform those superstitious rituals it is a symptom of OCD. It is what can distinguish between a simple superstition and OCD. Just because the "book doesn't say it" doesn't make it any less true in a real world scenario.

Hes superstitious not OCD and its due to reasons that will be explained in later episodes. Mental health is not…
Perhaps. But based on what I've seen so far its not just superstitions. And if you're saying he has a reason to have those superstitions to the point that he gets panicked when he doesn't, just further solidifies my point. I gave a more detailed explanation earlier.

Also there's nothing wrong with him being OCD. IDK why everyone is freaking out by my observation and making it out to seem like I just abused a character.

Phu has OCD?
Both superstitious rituals and compulsive behaviors are maladaptive ways of trying to gain control in situations that we have no control over.

In Episode 1 & 2 we see Phu get anxious, borderline panicky, when he doesn't follow the rituals to a T. I haven't done a proper eval on Phu so I cannot make a "formal" diagnoses, but from what I've seen so far, it does point more towards it being OCD than simply being superstitious. Not to mention he is a fictional character. Also, just because a book doesn't outright say that a character is OCD, doesn't mean the character can't be OCD. It just means the author doesn't know the disorder well enough.

I am Indian, ayurveda also prescribes certain colors to wear on certain days, and since childhood my grandmother has engrained it into us to follow it. But none of us get panicked if we don't wear those colors. There is a very big difference between being superstitious and OCD.

Phu has OCD?
It is possible. His belief that wearing the right color underwear on a particular day with prevent bad things from happening is a classic OCD action. He even keeps saying how "he did everything right, so the day should be good." (paraphrasing).

These are signs of a disordered/maladaptive pattern of thinking and belief. That doing or not doing a certain action/behaviour can lead to something bad happening/not happening.

I'll be honest. I was dreading watching this. I loved Boss in LITA, but noeul's acting was off-putting AF. But he's grown A LOT in the 2 episodes I have watched. The chaos of Phu's OCD and anxiety is... interesting - and I hope they are going to address the mental health aspect of it in a more serious way. Because I don't think Mental Health struggles should be joked about and right now it seems too much like a comedic plot point.

There are 3 main couple- each getting 8 episodes. For ArcArm(FB) it’s more of a romcom. You could probably try…

I thought Junior/Mark are the next story line since Mark is the one who kicks of the show by being the new 10 liner being inducted. Or are they the 2nd couple of Santa/Perth's storyline.

I just started the gun/yotha storyline.

Whoever is in charge of Santa - why are you trying so hard to make this absolutely gorgeous man look bad?? Also what is with the overexaggerated aegyosal makeup is making him look tired rather than doe-eyed (why are you putting a shiny highlight on his bags - that's all I can focus on). His face foundation is unnaturally pale (he is already really pale, but this even lighter shade is not flattering), and then you use red to emphasis his eyes which makes him look like a vampire!

I just watched Love Game in Eastern Fantasy. And I adored her. The only thing that bugged me was the "cute" falsetto she had to do for the role. Clearly it isn't her real voice, given that one of her other characters in the show spoke normally. That being said, she is a hella talented actress and I look forward to watching more stuff from her catalogue.

I think its stupid that there is an expectation for celebrities to donate publicly. It comes across as inauthentic when people donate, like they've done it because they wanted a pat on the back. I know, even as a nobody, I always donate anonymously because it seems silly to me that people are lauded for something that should be ingrained in us. Also, just because someone has a lot of work doesn't mean they are swimming in money - nobody knows their personal or financial situation - it creates this unrealistic expectation that adds undue financial and emotional burden.

I think she is a fantastic actress. No overacting, no whiny high pitched voice. She comes across as effortless in her acting which a lot of people struggle to do. This is something I absolutely adore about Zhao Lusi. I hope she can find freedom and peace. Nobody can truly understand just how heavy all her burdens must have been. At the end of the day I hope she keeps herself as her top priority and finds happiness again.

Both the ML and FL are amazing and gorgeous. It has taken me 4 months to find out who they were 😱😱😱😱! Most of these vertical format 1-minute episode movies/series are repetitive (I've seen this same story with 5 different couple at least) and they are the best IMHO. I always want to watch the series they are in.

He got a nosejob after 12%?? He had such a beautiful nose, though! But whatever makes him happy and makes him feel confident in himself, I guess.

I also come from a culture where everyone is obsessed with pale skin. So, yeah I get it, live it, experience it on the daily. But as you pointed out, he was already pretty pale.
