I'm loving it 💓Another great one ❣️Yushi is Yang school church and I think his first love ♥️
This is a spin-off of 2016's Addicted which was canceled before the entire show aired due to CN censorship. The same actors played these characters in that show but in 'addicted' they were the 2nd couple or rather, they were friends of the main pairing with hints of deeper feelings but nothing concrete.
Never heard of quasi rape before but whatever. Wanted to watch some of his dramas but I guess imma pass.
Quasi-rape is a mistranslation. But basically it means that the victim was unable to fight back because they were probably intoxicated/unconscious. If the victim(s) were able to verbally or physically fight back and did so it would be a rape charge. Learned this thanks to Stephanie Soo's Rotten Mango Podcast (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNYoNpqXpMw)
As much as I hated "Mission to the Moon" and found Pak and Mon super cringe in that, I loved them in this show. Way more than the main couple. But all the proposals were super cringe. Although the 3rd BL couple were probably my favorites... the GL couple felt a little forced, but they were cute.
This show is not going to be winning any awards. But it wasn't the worst one I've seen either.
It was kind of obvious that Shane wasn't interested in Jonathan romantically from the start. Shane thought of…
I know of plenty of people who said they were 100% straight, were in straight relationships, you never would have thought they were anything else if you met them their whole lives and ended up falling for and marrying someone of the same sex. I know people who were like "I am 100% gay" but they ended up falling for and marrying someone of the opposite gender. I know of a person who only feels romantical attraction to one gender and only feels sexual attraction to another. Sexuality is very much on a spectrum. Love is love. You are only 100% of something until you find the right person for you, regardless of their gender. Human sexuality is complex and varied, and that is ok and normal. There is are no absolute binaries, but rather there are many many MANY shades of grey and you might believe you are absolute pure white or absolute pure black, but there will always be a tiny tiny bit of other in there as well - because we are human and we are complex.
I agree with everything you wrote. I want the ending where Jared cuts ties with both of them. I want Jared to…
Personally, I think he likes Ethan, cos he gets sad when Ethan asks about Jared. With Jared he's more buddy-buddy, at least that's how I saw it. And everyone and their neighbour's cousin's bestfriend's uncle's boss knows that Ethan likes Jared.
When did Jared ever ask Farrah to ''dim her own light''? He was there for her always. Defended her against his…
Nobody is entitled to anyone's affections. Just because he likes Uno, doesn't mean Uno HAS to like him back.
And Farrah is right. She has had to "dim her light". It's not about the crush. Its about everything. Ever since the accident she has being bending backwards to try and never hurt Jared again. She lives in a house where she is constantly belittled and made to constantly feel guilt. Ok yes, Jared stands up for her - but can you imagine living in a home where you don't feel welcome? I do. It is awful, it feels like you are constantly drowning. She doesn't play volleyball to her full potential (it was talked about earlier in the series) and tries not to shine to bright or take spotlight so that Jared doesn't feel inferior or get hurt. Jared didn't have to ask her to - but her guilt towards him did. It is not Jared's fault, not at all. And Farrah should not have put that onus on him.
When exactly did Farrah have the time to tell Jared about how she felt about Uno? She didn't know Jared had a crush on Uno. She spends time with both Uno and Jared to try and get them to mend their friendship. When Jarred tells her he almost kissed Uno, was she supposed to tell him then? Was she supposed say "Oh yeah, and that girlfriend is me?" They were not officially dating, just exploring feels. And do you think if she told him she had feelings for Uno at that point Jared would have reacted any better? Farrah and Uno like each other, it has nothing to do with Jared.
Jared feeling betrayed is valid, because he is human and he is allowed to feel what he feels and it is a very complex situation. BUT lets make it clear that it is not because Uno and Farrah liking each other is ACTUALLY them betraying him.
People say "bros before hoes" and "chicks before dicks" but a that BS. And I say that always having been the Jared to so many Farrahs (BFFS) who fell in love with an Uno (the person I had an unrequited crush on). I knew how amazing my Farrah and Uno were individually, and both of them knew how I felt. And sure it hurt when they got together, but if they were both amazing and I always ever wanted both of them to be happy, and they could bring each other happiness, why wouldn't I be happy for them? And its between them, who am I to say they can't be together just because I have feelings for one of them? That is selfish AF.
The thing is, it is not about Farrah or Jared being right or wrong. They are both kids. They are both trying to navigate complicated feelings.
Farrah has spent a long time living in guilt for being the reason Jared got into an accident, guilt that Jared's mom won't let her live down, even though Jared doesn't blame her. The reason she doesn't tell him because it will be another way she hurts him. And I can see her not wanting to do that. Remember that they are kids, they can be mature, but there will always be ways in which they will act immaturely. Also lets keep in mind that the whole "I have feelings for Uno" was a new bombshell that got dropped on her. She was already into Uno, and Uno was already into her. They don't really owe Jared anything just because he liked Uno first. BUT I do think she should have told Jared how she feels. But I don't think the fall out would have been any less worse.
Jared can come across as entitled. However, he's just a hurt kid. The person he likes doesn't like him back, and instead likes the person he tells all his deepest darkest secrets to, and yes she didn't tell him that she likes him too. He's hurt that Farrah didn't tell him. He's hurt because unrequited love hurts like a MF. And he's hurt that the person closest to him, is the one that the person he likes likes.
Uno, Uno, Uno. Instead of running away, you should have told Jared how you were feeling and that it was Farrah you were into.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 You probably only went to the touristy areas. Yes, English is often considered to be a "global" language - but that is usually only by people in countries where English is the official/primary language because they think the whole world needs to cater to them.

There are many countries where this is not the case. Even in Europe. I spent a month in Warsaw, Poland using google translate for every single interaction. The only people who spoke English were immigrants. There may be some polish people who speak English but a majority that we met didn't - and we were in Warsaw.
I have spent time in parts of Germany, France, Austria and Italy with similar expereiences where nobody (not even the younger generation) spoke English.
I am loling so hard at you rn. Grow up and learn some history and science... but I have a feeling you're from the place where neither of those matter anymore...
In my country (France) it is forbidden because it’s still dangerous for the baby 😣 where are you from ?
Yes, this is true most places. But some places it is only for siblings, some places cousins are considered distant enough. But in BL & GL Pairings, there is no biological baby - so it is moot point.
Additionally, they grew up not knowing they were related. I definitely had crushes on some of my 2nd and 3rd cousins growing up because I would see them like once in a few years, and it's not like we'd talk to them/about them at home - so we didnt' grow up with that brotherly/sisterly feelings. But it was just crushes.
My BFF dated her 7th or 8th Cousin for almost a decade. They ended it when they found out they were cousins. Their parents didn't know they were dating and assumed they knew they were cousins. They had no clue. They grew up thinking they were family friends/classmates.
I enjoy his work, but his vertical dramas have been very hit or miss for me. Might be because hes 17-19 in these and is playing a character who is meant to be in his mid-to-late 20s and tsundere.
For example, there's this one drama where a woman gives birth to the CEOs baby, and her sister steals the baby and has her sent abroad so that she can pretend to be the one the CEO has a ONS with. And his acting in that was was awful.
But dramas in like Jian Ye and Jie Gu Hou Yan Wang Yi Jiang Shan Wei Pin Qu Wo, I really liked him. Even in his breif 2-minute role in ABO Desire, he was good. So, it very well could be an experience thing.

The assassin saves the prince during their childhood and at a staged assassination attempt (to gain the prince's trust) at the temple.
