She finally realized she has a trauma and needs time to heal, decides to go for a trip ( if you don’t know about…
EXACTLY she needs to find herself BY herself. face palm. if they wanted to show them end up tgt in the end they could have just let her go on her solo trip, put a fast forward 1 year later scene to them finding each other again or smth. lol
is seok hoon really on do hee's side?? i recall in one of the earlier episodes that they showed an ambiguous side of him (possibly also a sociopath) but other than that he seems to always be on her side??
I don't understand why everybody seems to want for the sister to remain single, like that's gonna do wonders for…
Yes i travel solo a lot and enjoy having meals by myself - of course i enjoy doing both of these with a friend too - but both enrich the soul in different ways. i wouldn't discount the confidence that doing things by yourself gives! but i understand everyone is wired differently and perhaps HS (or you) are more suited to be with a companion, won't argue with that!
As for the ML, i believe he stuck out with his cheating gf not because he was afraid of being alone but it was for 2 main reasons which was revealed in the drama: (1) he did not want to hurt her by confronting her about it - he rather the truth come from her (by confronting her about it before she told him abt it, she would be hurt by the knowledge that he had knowingly suffered for the 1 year of her cheating) and (2) he always suppressed his emotions as a trauma response of living with his mother - frustrated by her frivolous and irresponsible lifestyle, he learned to avoid confrontation/emotions and went into escapism (since he learned that she is too stubborn and prideful and won't change, he can only change the way he deals with her), which made him very stoic and cold to the people around him (and have a bleak outlook on life). So yeah, i feel that it has nothing to do with being afraid to live alone!

i feel that it's not that she should be single forever, but enjoy being single first (and the solitude that comes with it) and loving herself for who she is, being comfortable not depending on someone for joy, enjoying doing things by herself, for herself - before she gets into a relationship and loses herself in it.
Makes sense! It’s kind of like in another time and space(?) but there are still bits and pieces of the drama…
yea this totally! they also provided some closure on some stuff that was briefly touched on in the drama and the special ep which made it really sweet/bittersweet
i've watched it twice and feel like watching this movie as an adaptation of the drama makes more sense than watching it as a sequel to the movie. thoughts?
Between leads the romance starts in the last three episodes but there are side character couple they are cute.
yah!! but i thought it was so underwhelming though, it set us up for some cuteness overload but the way some of the romance scenes were filmed were so awkward and cringey, if not for the chemistry i would have dropped it T.T
I thought the same but it can also be intentional to show that a month as passed.
Yea I thought so too but those bruises don’t disappear within a month though… and it can’t be longer than a month since La Shou doesn’t have much time left. But ok it’s a drama, usually a divorce settlement (Yu Han’s) isn’t settled so quickly in a month either so just gonna turn a blind eye to it haha
Erm the bruises on Yuhan disappeared real fast in ep 9 (disappeared after they met as a group after La Shou managed to get her parents' approval + the wedding) lol
IMO You're right, it made him feel special. Like he was chosen. I think of her biting habit in the same way you…
I like how you interpreted the nuances of the bite, yea it totally made him feel oddly special, but it was nice nevertheless that he recognised that they have a special relationship. Hahaha yes all the individuals (including us) are definitely works in progress!
In episode 4, there is a flashback scene which showed the FL biting the ML’s arm back in their schooling days, and the ML smirked when his friends said they had never been bitten by her before - I suppose he smirked because he felt special for being treated that way, like as if being bitten is a sign of endearment? However does anyone also find this a little psychotic as the bite was rather deep (he bled a bit and the bite mark is quite gross, unlike a love bite) rather than playful? Or anyone have any insights on why he smirked??
trying my luck on this but anyone knows what is the song played in episode 3 by the DJ before he ran off to the toilet and the couple's bickering is broadcasted to the whole school? lol it starts with something like "아무로 모르게 조금씩 다가와" but I can't find it no matter how much i google it! much appreciated!!
There are totally three worlds shown in this drama:#1st World: Lemed claims only he and Kakarayan can survive…
That's more like a meta understanding of dreams right? Like a poetic way of making something come real rather than a literal thing related to physical reality. Anyway, thank you so much for replying! This has been helpful (:
Anyone has an in-depth analysis of the show? Was confused from ep 11 onwards LOL. Read some from the comments here but still can't bridge the gap in some parts
