maybe i missed some context but taking a picture of your coworkers sleeping on the bus home, to me, is not the same as taking pictures for the trip. that mixed with her saving it as her wallpaper and only wanting to come to work to ship them feels very gross and dehumanizing like idk what else you want me to say lol that's just how i feel

genuinely asking here but in what way is it less creepy that she kept it to herself? if she hadn't taken a photo and had just thought to herself that they were cute together or whatever that would be normal but taking their picture and treating them like zoo animals for her to be entertained by is why it's gross.

yeah, i agree. naturally, after the stuff from a few months ago, it definitely felt like he was in the wrong here too. now, though, it just feels so off seeing people more worried about his career or getting a season two than everyone involved's well-being. even if he's innocent this time i think it's best if he takes time off to reflect and heal at the very least... not to mention bringing the cast & crew back all over again ? i just hope things are cleared up soon because from the get-go everything has been handled so poorly...

its not that i really blame anyone but i do kind of wonder what people think happens when you put adults who are passionate (?) about portraying a romanticized abusive couple in the same rooms as an actual minor and other people whose livelihoods depend on those in charge. like idk its not shocking to me at all and i have no idea what pleasure you could possibly get out of watching this show unless you genuinely do not care that its abusive and toxic

honestly its not that i dont understand that this show could have its appeal. i think the place i take a huge issue with it is where people quite literally only watch this to rave about how hot it is and the worst part to me is that that is the *point* of this show. like theres almost nothing even remotely meaningful to it after maybe episode 1 or 2 ..

ok i want you to explain to me what you like so much about this show without mentioning things that could be in any show like good acting or editing or chemistry. like what about THIS show brings you so much joy ? but also if you wrote a book that romanticized or idealized the murder of a person yes i would think you need to get help lol. if it was just a book including a murder or offering some insight on why a murder happened or something i think thats clearly different lmfao

youre right i havent seen any of that ive legit only seen people say it was mutual or that they would support build no matter what. as for the metaphor i dont think it works the same at all. people are told their entire life that murder is wrong and i dont think i have ever seen people say its ok to just like murder someone ? ever ? but with abuse and assault...its a totally different story and i think you know that. this show was not some deep commentary on how people are messed up it was literally just some freakshows wet dream come to life which is obvious when you realize there is literally no plot other than abuse with no character development at all

my point was that people are back on the "i love build he does no wrong" train. they are both shitty but people are either only holding her accountable or are using the fact that it may have been mutually fucked up to excuse one or both of them. you guys never cease to amaze me with how little you care about the impact these kinds of things have on real life and real people even if its supposedly all just fiction...they get the inspo to write it from somewhere whether its real life or real desires its not pulled out of their ass

i wish gmmtv would just actually include real minorities of the groups they talk about instead of just going "hey guys look this actor is extremely romantically ambiguous but will literally only ever call himself straight" or "guys look he learned sign language he's practically an actual deaf person" it's such a cash grab at this point
