After 5 episodes of next to nothing happening the last episode was like “they met as kids” “the fathers have a subplot” “it’s mutual!” Just felt like they threw everything at the window and went with what stuck.
Imagine I Told Sunset About You but garbage. Pretty scenery and decent looking actors but no substance and no sizzle.
I don’t know why this was made. I guess Studio WabiSabi wanted to give BounPrem something to do.
On a positive note, I did laugh when the theme song started and I skipped head and then realized that only the last episode didn’t have the 5 minute intro.
This series was a choice… I have to guess this was made to give BounPrem something to do while studio wabi Sabi was uhhh “preparing” for Between Us
5 episodes into a 6 episode series and like virtually nothing has happened. I think there are 4 or 5 couples between the leads, the boxer, the other debt collectors, the lawyer and friend, the younger brother and his jerk bf. So many couples and so little development for anyone.
I think my favorite part about this series is how nice the anime orange hair looks on Prem. This series needs a stronger script and maybe cutting like 4-6 of these side characters. And yes the intro is ridiculously long.

The movie and season 2 happen during roughly the same time frame but different focuses. Season 2 expands on what happens with the other characters but also gives more depth to what happens with CaiReel

I agree with you @Ivy it's obvious the dad has some sort of plan (I mean he was playing chess while talking about Porsche) my guess (I haven't read the books) is that he was involved with Porsche's family's death or he knew them/could have prevented it. But anyway, the show has shown Kinn besting Porsche and being competent on his own, so they haven't really shown why Kinn /needs/ Porsche to be his main bodyguard since Kinn is a badass himself. I guess they didn't want to make Kinn a damsel but it just seems like a lot of unnecessary work to coerce Porsche when Kinn could just like get 4 dudes to be his meat shield.

@NotaRobot I am an interfan visiting Thailand for a few weeks. But the Thai fans were hella nice to me. I will wait and hope the show gets picked up for someone to do official subs but I really appreciate all the fans who subbed the series.
