I think they officially get together episode 15. They never really break up, theres a misunderstanding or two but they resolve them pretty quickly. Theres an annoying female but the ML has the FML's back and doesn't let her bother him. He's pretty strict with her and constantly lets her know that he doesn't like her. I think the ML and FML have a partnership throughout rather than other overshadowing the other, which is nice
What I really like about this drama (so far) is that it doesn't have any complicated or unrealistic misunderstandings. The development of their relationship is realistic. You have attraction > insecurity > acceptance > confession > love.
I also like the fact that both characters have a healthy mindset. I have not seen any toxic behaviour as of yet.
Sigh, I feel like people are so busy shipping, they aren't even seeing the character development. It's not about who she ends up with, it's about the journey.
I'm actually so proud of NaBi. She starting to put herself before anything else. She's setting boundaries and looking at things objectively. NaBi doesn't need to be in a romantic relationship with Jae Eon or Do Hyeok. What she needs is to figure out her own goals and aspirations.
Jae Eon has had a lot of character development. He went from being completely detached to the feeling of love to actually experiencing it. It is fair that he doesn't know what to do with these new found feelings so he lashes out with jealousy. He's so desperate to hold on to NaBi but he doesn't take into consideration what she wants. Jae Eon needs to take a step back and learn how to form genuine relationships. Imagine starting off a relationship with NaBi AFTER that mess? It wouldn't be good for either of them. So no, I don't hope they end up together. But I am happy that he's changing, its just not NaBi's job to fix him.
Do Hyeok is my favourite character. But he's just very passive. He takes everything upon himself and allows himself to be hurt in the process. But he's changing as well. He's becoming more confident and upfront. He is starting to say what's on his mind. Do Hyeok is ready to be in a relationship but I think he needs to be with someone who is on the same emotional level as him. NaBi is not yet there. If NaBi were to choose him in the end, it is very likely that he would have a constant feeling of insecurity.
How is telling someone they're not ready for a relationship not an explicit rejection? Sure she didn't reply when…

Do Hyuk should definitely not had that conversation while she was that vulnerable. Though when he said he wouldn't give up - I think he meant his feelings for her rather than keep making advances.
Honestly, I think they're all a little selfish in their own ways. Which is normal, no one is perfect. I get that NaBi feels bad about Do Hyuk, I would too. But at the same time, she should reject him sternly. If she couldn't in that moment, then later when they met at school. It's also unfair to string someone along because you don't want to hurt their feelings. They'll be hurt later anyways. Do Hyuk can make the decision if he can get past his feelings and remain friends with her or not.
Realistically, theres many things either of them could have done, it's not solely anyones fault. :(
I also agree with you on the ending, I hope NaBi can be free and happy. I don't want her with either or any boy right now.
I don't think Do Hyuk was annoying this episode tho? NaBi didn't straight up reject him. She just said she wasn't ready for a relationship because she was currently confused about Jae Uhn? She also allowed him to cook for her, visit, picked up his phone. She seemed happy to do those things too.
So is it wrong for him to continue to like her? I don't think so. He always asks her before he does anything. He even said "until you're with someone" and "until you tell me you'll never like me". If NaBi told him to leave, he would. So I don't agree with people when they say he's being clingy or annoying. He isn't harassing her and has always put her feelings before his own.
Not saying NaBi should accept him either. Girl needs to step away from all boys and focus on her own life. Maybe take some time to find out what she wants to do, figure out what her passion is. She can think about love later.

I think that's unfair. So what if he doesn't have any sexual experience? It depends on every person but I would rather be with someone who cares about me emotionally. You can learn new tricks in bed, but you can't force someone to love you.

Hmm, I feel like even if you take DK out of the picture. NaBi hasn't been happy at all. She's been happy in the moment, but she's been very insecure. She likes him for sure. But imagine living your life knowing the guy/girl you like might be out fooling around with anyone. And you can't say anything either because at the end of the day, they told you they don't commit. It's not a good feeling and can't work in the long run.
I'm really enjoying this drama. I actually look forward to all the new episodes. I like how there aren't any annoying characters or misunderstandings (yet). Usually by the 16th episode you know if you're going to get bored. But the two main characters still give me butterflies!

I think in terms of love triangle - 1988 was the one that got me. There was a proper love triangle there - a frustrating one as well. BUT it was one of the best dramas I've ever watched. I would still recommend it!
