Sorry for intruding on y'all's convo, but I admire your dedication to keeping up with LJH's interviews. I thought I knew a decent amount about him but I learned so much from what you shared, thanks <3
Tbh, i started on this drama cause Mouse, Beyond Evil, Law School kinda bored me out. Expected nothing, I clicked…
Thanks for making me feel better about dropping Mouse and Beyond Evil LOL, I was never able to get into them past the first few episodes. Taxi Driver on the other hand... Lee Jae Hoon never disappoints.
Pyo Ye jin did such an amazing job in the emotional scene, I didn't cry but I felt the pain in my chest. I cannot…
I cried and stopped breathing when they muffled the audio. that scene was perfect. the acting from PYJ, the camera angles, the audio effects. It delivered the emotions so viscerally.
OMG this is a masterpiece! Not only a superb cast and crew, it is DELIVERING A MESSAGE and comforting victims. Ugh this drama checks all the boxes honestly.
And they managed to find an actor that has an uncanny resemblance to him.
He played a similar character along side Lee Jae Hoon in Tomorrow With You. Apparently his niche is playing the psychotic CEO and he plays it so well LOL.
I didn't think illegal videos thing was real too. Just the trash CEO. Here is in-depth info:https://twitter.com/koryodynasty/status/1057158967934087168?s=20
I am beyond baffled. I thought everything about this week's episodes was an exaggeration but it's all actually real. the minions with bright hair and the following the boss around with a camera and actually shooting all the awful stuff he does..? WTH.
Finally, a Korean drama that recognizes how gun shooting scenes always seem absurd and miss the target multiple times as if intentional and uses it to its own advantage to perfect the plot. Props to them. Wow.
So the whole wedding scene with outfits was staged? damn that's sad. It seemed weird to me that they would get married and dress up in wedding outfits while they were in the middle of a critical mission to save the world (It was clear that HTS died before the war so the wedding couldn't have been after then). If you notice in one flash-back (or flash-forward?) scene where KSH sees her future self in the wedding dress, when she was standing there all dressed up, her eyes were frightened like she was being threatened by someone standing in front of her (Sigma).
I'm placing my hopes on Jung Hyun Ki to be the saving grace and turn over Sigma's scheme since he seemed to not fulfill his part in it. He definitely looked like he had a final mission of his own.
Also, just one final random observation: Tae-Sul, Eddy= Tesla and Edison. When Sigma said that Eddy is like Edison who "won" in the end against Tesla, it was clear to me that Eddy was supposed to be a metaphor of Edison but I just realized at ep 15 that Tae-Sul was Tesla's. Just a witty addition on the Writer's part.
Can someone who speaks Korean answer a translation question? There are two time we get to hear a rendition of…
It is a translation error. Both times it was "What you're looking at IS yourself". I'm assuming it didn't make sense to whoever translated episode 4 because she wasn't looking at anything. It was just a memory of what she first read on that diary and that was supposed to go along with her finding her corpse which we saw in ep 8, and that line now makes sense.
What? He seems close with future kim seo jin... when did this happen?
I know, and it wouldn't make sense if they were supposed to be the same character because they don't seem too far-off in age, but they could still make it work if that is how they want the story to be and it is still a possibility.
What? He seems close with future kim seo jin... when did this happen?
He knows her and she knows him, He seems to be a regular visitor of her orphanage and the children know him. The director is showing some sort of relationship between them in the last scenes of ep 10.
