I was not able to get past a few minutes on the netflix (who, by the way generally do a MUCH better job, no clue what went wrong here) version because Kira was portrayed as less than egotistical, smart and meticulous, as well as his mom was not alive and then to top it off Ryuk was egging him on. All of those defeated the purpose of the struggle for good versus evil, (Kira was supposed to be attaining JUSTICE from a system he believed was now incapable of attaining justice in the current atmosphere), power corrupting, and various other important mechanics that I felt were momentous in the original version.

my Mom could handle it, but it was just too much for me. I missed the pottery historical one as well as the Alice one :(

In all fairness she was prettier. her painter on the wind character was at least bearable but I have had no stomach for her since then. I did not ever find her anything more than tolerable. yep she is the one. i was seriously freaked out by how much she was hailed as a beauty. I think the issue is probably she is not photogenic. how sad for her.

Shi Wan, birth name Im Woong Jae from Busan is a vocalist of the group ZE:A. He is an idol of one of my avorite Kpop groups. He also happens to be in my favorite kdrama in i dont know how long ( the same one you mentioned, Misaeng) he is also great in movies, and he is so fun in his group as well. this young man is seriously multi talented and I hope this drama does any justice to his talent. I know the company his boy band works for is in dire straights and alot of their group members do just damn near anythign they can for fundage.

I get that. but she just grosses me totally out, its like shes made of some weird dough and nobody baked it and her eyes are like TEENY raisnettes and her skin is all bloaty. just cannot hang. woody allen could be her heart twin they are both disgusting ( for very different reasons)

Sorry to see that happens but i know exactly how you feel. I like Im Im Yoon Ah but i cannot force myself to watch any drama that has moon guen whoever in it. OMG she creeps me out to the MAX. so, meh I know how it feels to be so against a particular actor.

I am just going to throw this out there. WAY too many of the actors in here are ones I really really appreciate. I will be watching this !!!!

that is excellent advice. I usually give five because some times it is hard to get the sea legs sooner but every now and then we will be faced with a drama that has disaster written on it from episode one. so far, this kind of does, but the promise of how wonderful the story COULD be has me holding on for five max.

Honestly the lead male is making it hard not to watch just because he is so personable. I do not dislike any of the actors so far. what is killing me is the writing ( or editing or directing, one of these is sucking BIG time) the characters are non linear. they say "this character is this" and then proceed to remove said characters attributes and hand same a set of " i'm too stupid to breathe without a recording saying in and out" panties. it is so sad really. a fabulous premise and then it is dumbed down past belief. so so so sad. five episodes I will give it before throwing up my hands and giving up.

Open is good in drama land hehe. I also allow everyone to like or dislike what ever dramas they want no matter how much I do like them. it reminds me of every one having a favorite color. Glad to meet you!!

who cares? romance is romance :) it is a fantastic movie. such amazing chemistry and you will laugh and cry and sigh and squee!! SO good!!!
