He is stunning both to look at and most importantly, as an actor. I will say that I hate seeing that beautiful…
OMG I was JUST thinking the same thing. hehehehhe
The monk seemed like he was properly struggling to achieve enlightenment, and Wu Kong was super freaking the BOMB awesome. I loved his eye make up look. WOW. Lin Geng Xin is fantastic.
kris Wu did a fine job. LGX stole the show. I loved the snuggles scenes between him and kris wu. OH MY STARS... is it hot in here? LMAO LOLOLOL

Seems like a lot of drama will happen throughout this series. I liked the first episode, so I´ll continue…
Ugly Alert is great, so is Okijayo brothers and Princess Aurora ( new one not the old one) if you like 50 plus.

A lot of the older dramas are on netflix and have been for years. also Hulu was airing a lot of korean dramas there for a while, but it looked like they toned it down a little. they seem to partner with Dramafever!! to bring weekly episodes!! No one has a decent access to a lot of Japanese or Chinese ones aside from dramafever and the sites that shall not be named. Well I am sorry to say, I am thankful HOWEVER they get here because the crap that is on local television is pretty sad. I stopped watching it years ago because it was just too stupid / sex-oriented / violent. Not much new and exciting was coming down the path.

I am a serious fan of Im Joo Won and Cha tae Hyun. Both serious actors with OODLES of charm and chops! anything they pick to make is usually the one to watch!! I do enoy the rest of their actors as well, i mean Song Joong Ki is like the original ( for me) tension maker ( as noted in his amazing performance in Sungkyunkwon Scandal) as well as my first look at his serious side in Innocent Man. They really know how to pick their actors!!

Really, I have NO idea what I should watch now. .___.
When I first started i mean like the first ten or so dramas really first started, I just watched a genre, I was very into historical dramas. Then after I had seen about 40 or so, I had found drama fever. It was after I had exhausted all their historical dramas ( as well as crunchy roll, they barely even carry dramas any more so you know it was a while back ) that I found out the stars listed had the dramas they carried by that star. this coincided with two dramas: warrior baek dong soo and Next, my first official modern drama. Since then I follow an actor tree. I find an actor i like and then watch every drama of theirs i can find, all the while keeping an eye open for new actors to follow. Sometimes I would still go by genre, but mostly it was actor driven. Now, I just watch anything that looks good, and try new stuff often!!! I can appreciate a good jdorama and I have become seriously addicted to cdramas, wuxia in particular!! I have never had a plan to watch list of fewer than 20 items since I found MDL, but I noticed that I use those dramas as stepping stones, I may or may not watch them, but they lead me to the good stuff :) MDL is awesome and I am really really glad I found it.

I completed watching the show and I'm still wondering why is it rated so highly? Why is it recommended pretty…
ah sorry, I misunderstood. I was also speaking generally, but globally instead of Asian :) I am just too tired of the dramas that depend on sex and violence. I am ready for a show and romance and new ( to me) interesting concepts. I am really enjoying the Asian worldview. it is very cool.

Well I kind of started backwards from you. But after watching almost every kdrama out there up until 2015, I was actually angry whne dramafever added non korean dramas. now I am wishing they had a lot more cdramas and Jdoramas. I love both of those probably more thna I ever did korean dramas. I was also a huge anime fan but it took a long time before I would enjoy a jdorama. I happen to be crazy about historical dramas so wuxia is perfect for me. I love jdoramas slice of life. I cannot remember the title of the last kdrama I even watched. *sigh*
I do not think all dramas are the same in every country. there is too much sex and violence in western dramas, movies and even cartoons. I think the same goes for the hispanic dramas. Not saying some of them aren't good, I just don't liek them. and after atching asian dramas for 7 years all of a sudden all the American stars look really old and lumpy too. Buhahahahahaha

ACK really? I also love that one! For some reason Yamapi has totally captured my heart in that drama. he is so silly cute and tough as heck. but, different taste is a fact of life! I will love mine and you will love yours, and thats wonderful@!
