Watching him in Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu he is the sexiest nerd I have ever seen. what a great appeal he has. very cool. His tenderness, uncertainty and sensitivity is awesome, plus he is strangely alluring. Very good drama, very good role for Hoshino-san.

It is so low key, I suppose some could call it boring. But the things they go through and must come to terms with are lifes most major issues. I love how they deal with things. well so far anyhow, i am really appreciating the calm vibe. no one has to make a screaming, crying fit to learn, to grow and to understand. Sure the things this couple goes through are seriously major: How will I survive, how am I being filial to my parents, am I worth anything? what is marriage? life? Love? Family? a ton of huge things get dealt with in a very charming way, but no less thoroughly for that.

totally agree. I used MDL for the longest time just to keep track of what I had watched and to find what shows my actors were in so i could follow an actors body of work. However, on disqus I made an account just so i could talk about a specific drama. The need to share ones feelings will always get to a stage where, if there is no resident drama buddy, they will need to get out. Perfectly understandable.

Kazoku Game and platonic are probably the two most deep dramas for me. they both bring a message of love and living life for all it is worth. Nice article!!
