I loved the 2013 drama as well but for some reason the guy playing momo seems more real as a momo to me. I love both characterizations for momo in the jdoramas. But this latest one just seems like you could actually keep him as a pet for real. and then he is so utterly sweet.
I've seen the korean version. It's cute but a little outside of the box.
I liked the jdorama better than the kmovie, but this new jdorama one without subs so far is pretty nice to see. It is just killing me that there are no subs tho. it looks fantastic.
super great actor. his eyes are the happiest smiling eyes i think i have ever seen, and I really enjoy his voice. he seems underutilized, but glad he gets a lot of work. wonderful charisma.
truly a beautiful person. he carries so much potential! I mean living potential, you just KNOW stuff is all going to be swirling around him all the time he has such a HUGE presence.

i am only at episode 32 right now and I am already crying that there are not hundreds more episodes. they are super short, totally fun, non boring and cute as heck. just jump off in there. you can always manage a few 15 minute episodes :)
maybe because I am an older person, maybe not but this drama gives me serious chills, at episode 2, it is a very dark, very twisted and angry tale. It is superbly chilling when they just go to the next day after tying a doctor to a chair. I am seriously thinking the director and or writer is like a mad genius.
I honestly felt like I was going back in time, like 100 years back, medically speaking. if this show is representative of the medical reality of psychiatry even ten years ago I would be absolutely horrified. ( at the same time I am absolutely horrified about how much people know about minds and motivations on the leading edge.. YIKES)
This drama is so forgettable as far as i am concerned. the leads had less than zero chemistry, the story was not half bad thank goodness, or I would have dropped it pretty quick. I am not now nor was I before a fan of Sawamura Ikki. meh. not a waste of time but not my top pick by any stretch of the imagination.
